chisag
... Here is my Big Stu moment. I was on staff with Wilson and played the Ultra 45's when Wilson came out with the Titanium Whale driver. I was the narrator and designated swinger for the release in a video sent out to familiarize potential clients and after we finished filming I told the CEO of Wilson "For what it's worth, I don't think many people are gone play a driver with such a huge head. I love it after hitting it but when I first looked at it I thought I would never be able to hit a golf ball with such a large headed driver." Kor.A.Door
I’ll be honest, If Roswell wins, I will definitely give it a shot, Almost everyone who hit the Roswell hit it 20 yards farther than the others ones, and that was with everything set a neutral, I think with some adjusting this driver could be something. Are they going to sell like TM or Callaway, probably not, but I think they will sell a fair amount. Lefties are always in their Right Mind

Kor.A.Door
I see it this way, the testers hit all 3 from the same place, one driver (with the exception of 1 or 2 people) was consistently 15-20 yards farther than the other 2. All of them were set to standard and none were dialed into the person driving. I realize the altitude does affect the overall distance numbers, but I also know that altitude affected all 3 drivers and one of them was way longer than the other 2, and many were also commenting on the accuracy of that driver. Cortex has a chance, but the rozwell gave consistently more yardage. Eric Gagne hot it 335 on the very first drive and he only hit it one time. I would like to have seen some of the guys dial them in some to see what numbers they could get. Lefties are always in their Right Mind

Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy That's What I said in my video in the review up to date. The D v D is an awesome marketing tool to bring notoriety to the brand. They made serious improvements to the series from the last one for sure. Im also in agreement about the LM numbers seeming a little dodgy. I'm hoping what we didn't see was the serious amount of real testing being done on the models say in comparison to other OEMs to make sure a dud isn't being brought to market. What I haven't heard is that is better than my gamer. Pros and Cons Pro: Wilson is getting new and modern designs. The real weakness for the company was the design on the sole. Con: I can really see putting a driver without an associated FW or Hybrid. If you are going to buy into the model at least fill out the line. Pro: Even if the numbers appear dodgy, at least it appears the judges are using data verse popularity to make decisions Con: NO shots or picture of the top of the drivers, it was the determining factor in removing the Magnus from the line up. SO LETS SEE IT! Pro: the internet will be a blaze with reviews of the clubs and Club vs club review. Wanna bet Rick will have his up the day after.... Overall I like the program for what it does and produces. I hope continues and expands. By keeping with the original design he pretty much sealed his own fate from the show, if he would have taken the advice from the folks in the industry. The design team, the pro golfers, the am golfers that all gave the same feedback, and he would not budge. I don’t applaud him for that, if he thought his technology was the best, some simple changes could have changes his outcome. It performed well, but there were problems that were brought to his attention that he did nothing to fix. A little humility and tactfulness can go a long way.
