As the years roll along, it will be fun to watch it evolve for use in golf club manufacturing. The perimeter of the back of the two clubs looks similar in my opinion however from this angle the Forged Tour looks more along the lines of a game improvement club to me. I would love the opportunity to see some metallographic sections and just how close to forged microstructure they get. According to Cobra, their MIM process is yielding nearly the same. ZMendle10 132
More video reviews are popping up on YouTube and a common theme on the feel seems to be they feel soft but not as soft as something that is as purely forged as say a Taylormade P7MC. jddaigneault 1,237
Hit them yesterday. They are very nice! I would say slightly bigger and more forgiving than a traditional blade. More 921 Tour/P770/T100 than full blade. They feel fantastic though. Good sound. Loved hitting them. 2 Quote P790s/M5 Driver/F9 3wood/F9 hybrid/MG2 wedges/Ardmore putter

I can definitely see them in that category of iron. I couldn't imagine them getting the same or better feel of a pure forging but something with a little bit of tech under the hood like the P770 and T100 makes sense. 1 Quote Driver: Ping G410 Plus 9° HZRDUS Smoke Yellow (S Flex) 3 Wood: SIM 3 Wood 15° Ventus Black 7S 3 Utility Iron: King Utility Iron 18° Project X HZRDUS (S Flex) 4i-AW: 2019 P790 Nippon Zelos 7 (S Flex, Std Lie, +1/2" Length) 56°: SM4 56° Loft, 8° Bounce 60°: VIP 60° Putter: Scottsdale TR Sanita B Shot Tracking: Ball: Tour BX Bag: Hoofer Lite

It is an honor and privilege to compete in the #CCC. 3. Theses irons look sweet. I love that they keep some familiarity with former CB irons they have made while incorporating the new MIM technology. If it feels anything like the wedges they'll be great. And if they perform any better than the Forged Tec's they'll absolutely have a top notch offering on their hands. The Forged Tec's blew away my expectations during #CCC4 with consistent distance and performance, so I'd be interested to see what these can do! 1 Quote #COBRACONNECT CHALLENGE 4 ALUMNUS Speedzone Driver 10.5 - Ventus Blue 6X Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S Speedzone 4-Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S KING Forged Tec 5-GW - PX LZ 6.5 KING MIM Black 52.12 Classic, 56.10 Versatile, 60.04 Widelow - Nippon Modus 125 Wedge ER2B Pro V1x vs MTB-X vs Tour B X NX9 HD Slope #cuetheduckboats
hartrick11 537
I got a chance to hit the 7 iron the other day at the range. As a huge Cobra fan I was surprisingly disappointed in the feel to be honest. I will try again and see if I can hit one with the $ Taper that matches my King Forged CBs (they only had the Modus 120x available when I hit it).
