Golf Clash (mobile gaming)

So, I've been playing Golf Clash for the past few years, and it literally just struck me that I should find out if anyone else on the forum is playing.

If you're not familiar, it's a pretty typical golfing game, with the exception that you play 1-hole matches, teamed up against an opponent at random. If you tie, you do a one-shot playoff hole on a par-3, closest to the pin wins.  

It's simple, it's fun, the animation is incredible, and it's fairly addicting. 

There are tournaments once a week - sometimes they're two rounds (qualify Thursday or Friday for a chance to play the final on Saturday), sometimes they're three rounds (qualify either Mon/Tue/Wed, 2nd round is Thu/Fri, 3rd and final round is Sat/Sun).  If you make it into the final round, you're guaranteed "coins" and rewards, etc.

The other part of the app that makes it fairly entertaining is that you can join a league, and compete internally (see who gets the most points per week), and externally (see how many points your league can get compared to others).

So I'm thinking about starting a MGS league.  There's VERY little commitment involved - if you want to join, great, and if you want to play, great! If you want to join and not play, probably not a problem, unless someone wants to join who WILL play, etc.

It's a genuinely fun game, and considering how already-obsessed we all are with the game, this felt like the right audience.  

So who's in? I'm happy to set up a league if we have any interested parties.

Didn't know this game was still played! I used to be really, really into it. Not much of a mobile gamer, but this one is definitely an exception.

 

Also - I highly recommend Coffee Golf for those of you who like to do a morning/daily challenge type of game. I usually pair it with the mini-crossword and wordle.

I had a weird thing happen last night - I had tied the game with an eagle, and when we went to the "shootout", I got a pop-up message and then nothing would load.  It was late enough I just put the phone away and went to sleep, but the same thing happened once this morning, so I x'd out of the game and re-opened, and then was able to play a round.  Must be some server issues on their end.

I just started playing it a few days ago and can say that the game is really cool. And of course, there are other games I play. For example, lately, I've been playing different casino games, and I really like them. Earlier this week i found this page on accident https://gamblizard.ca/best-canadian-online-casinos/casino-payment-options/paysafecard-casinos/ and found out about some new casinos that use PaySafeCard for making deposits and withdrawing money. I've already played in one, and can say I really enjoyed it. I was offered nice bonuses and good games, and I can't wait to try others from the list.

I used to play a lot years ago... but then they admitted to sometimes pitching players vs old replays. I remember a particular case where I played the same opponent 3 times and he made the same HIO in all 3 games... 

But that was years ago, maybe can give it another go...
