Northern Monkey
I use one of these. Think it’s great. Does clubs, balls and shoes and fits nicely in the bag. I need something to clean my clubs while I play; what's your favorite golf brush? Big, big fan of the GrooveIt, but I had the same problem. Especially for rounds when I took a cart, it would go in a pocket rather than on the magnet. But last year, I ended up buying myself the GrooveIt mini. No water spray, but the brush itself is supper tiny (and therefore doesn't weigh enough to get jarred off the magnet). It should be my go to for a long time. kmorforsure
I primarily use the frogger as well. It gets the job done. It’s nothing special. I’m interested to see what folks say. I tried the caddy splash but would not recommend it. Imaxwell
Good ol fashioned wet towel for me. I like all the gadgets and gizmos golf offers, but I keep going back to simple. SRI1982
I have broke SO many of the cheap black retractable toothbrush style you find at the pro shop. They always seem to break right at the bottom of the brush before the handle. They usually don't last a month for me, idk if I'm just too rough on them? I'm about to go strictly wet towel and tee to clean grooves, unless someone has a good recommendation. VernL4
Based on posts here on MGS, I bought a Grooveit during the offseason. Sadly, it was leaking water so fast that it would by dry by hole 13 or so... I took the thing apart and put it all back together making sure everything was very tight. It seemed to last through my last round. I just put water in mine. The magnet is great! PrismFlopper
Cheap one i got in a assortment kit on amazon. Soft on one side and metal on the other. Never have to really use the but it's there if i slacked and didn't clean my clubs after the prev round. That and a wet towel usually does that job just fine. Clean the towel ever other round or two and all set. I do have a bad habit of having 3 towels on my bag though. I think it started from getting towels from the nicer clubs and just never taking them off the bag or my wife getting me a towel cause she doesnt know much about golf but knows i love it so she gets little gifts to support it. unccross, gingerbeast87, Rob Person and 1 other 4 Quote Been playing for about 2 years in total. CK1over
My favorite is definitely the GrooveIt miniG. Never had a problem with the magnet, it’s actually one of my favorite features. Also like the small size of the brush. And prefer the short nylon bristles as they seem to get the job done without wearing out my club face. I’ve tried a number of other cheap brushes on a lease and had more problems with them getting caught/tangled up in my bag’s stand legs. Wasn’t a fan of the groove cleaning metal pick as it was more likely to gouge my hand or my bag/towel. Also didn’t care for the double sided wire/nylon brush as the wire side also seems to cause my more pain than it did good. I do keep that brush at home when I want to clean up my clubs in the backyard before a round. unccross and Rob Person 2 Quote Driver: Callaway Epic Speed, 9.0, HZRDUS Smoke iM10 MID 6.0 60g shaft 3 wood: Titleist 917F2 15* (adjusted to 16.5*) 5 wood: Tour Model Special Edition, 21* Irons (5-PW): Taylormade Speedblade HL Wedges: Taylormade Speedblade HL AW 50*, Vokey SM6 56*10S, Excaliber Convex 60* Putter: Odyssey Ten tour lined two ball Balls: Maxfli Tour Bag: Ogio Grom Hybrid Tech: Hole19 app used with iPhone and Apple Watch series
hckymeyer
I've been using Frogger for years, I think I'm on my 3rd one. I also have a Groove it and it's been great. I like having the combo of both, Frogger most of the time but Groove it when I need the water. My only complaint is I really wish the Groove It brush head sat at an angle instead of a T. I find myself using it more just to get water on my golf ball to clean it off when there isn't a ball washer handy. I did just get my kid the caddie splash but he's had it all of one day so no opinion on it yet. I have not had any issues so far with the Groove It and the magnet. unccross and Rob Person 2 Quote Driver: SLDR w/ Fujikura Ventus Black 3w: '16 M2 hl w/ Diamana D+ 82 5w: Launcher HB w/ HZRDUS Yellow Hybrid: 22 deg.
