what is the suggested driver swing speed to go up to an X-flex shaft? Mine is between 108-113mph and I am playing a project X 6.0 on a callaway RAZR FIT tour authentic head. I think I might need a 6.5 for more consistency. Also, what range of torque should I be looking for? Also what would be a good tour level shaft at a good price? I have heard great things about the Xcaliber shafts from Arthur Extreme Engineering. Has anyone tried these shafts and which model would you recommend, The tour or tour sl?

There are so many questions you have to answer before you can get a good recommendation. I can find two people who hit 300 yards and one might need a lightweight S flex and the other a heavy X.

 

Off the top of my head, along with swing speed, you need to know your tempo (how much load you put on the shaft), angle of attack, ball launch angle, spin rate, spin axis.

 

 

A good fitter will know what to look for. Online, we're just guessing at best. You may gain yards or you may lose them. From what I've heard the Xcaliber shafts are very good, but we have no idea if their profile fits your needs.

You have just as good a chance of answering that question as I would answering which shaft is the best fit for you.  Without more information you might as well throw darts at a board.  Like WD said you need to know a lot more before making a shaft recommendation.  Your best bet would be to find a qualified fitter in your area and make an appointment.
