All the trips I took over the last 35 years, that never happened to me UNTIL I got my knee replacement. I had qualified for expedited screening (don't have to take off shoes, etc), but with the fake knee I never got to be expedited, but I did get "enhanced"... by a newbie TSA agent with his supervisor watching, so he was extra thorough. MattF
Car problems are THE WORST! Took the gfs car to get fixed, the right turn signal has been spotty for the past couple months. Turns out the part she needs is discontinued, and she's due for an inspection in October. Might be car shopping! What's the part, out of curiosity? I fix everything with our vehicles and have done so for close to 30 years, when I started driving. Ebay can be a good source of parts. I got a new Auto climate control head for my truck for $80, opposed to a new one that needs to be programmed, for $380. It was a blast. Only thing that drove me nuts is I travel a lot. My bags are packed so that I can just fly through TSA with no issues which seems to be the case 99 out of 100 times. The one time that I get pulled aside I get the full service. Flight was late getting in and I got home at 4am this morning. TSauer
Question for those of you who read my earlier rant about car problems. A little summary before the question. Took the car in Monday, they looked at it, said it was turn signal switch. Took it in Wednesday to replace switch, they learned it was not that part, they didn't charge me for anything and ordered the new part. They are supposed to call when the new part arrives to schedule a date to fix it. Here's the twist, ever since I left the shop Wednesday, everything has been working fine. No issues with the blinker whatsoever. The GF stated the switch feels tighter, and not loose like it used to be. Maybe them taking it off and putting it back on and tightening it fixed things? Who knows, but for two days now there hasn't been issues. The question I have is, is it okay to tell the shop you don't want to schedule to fix it anymore (if everything continues to work properly), even if they have already ordered the part? sixcat 1 Quote Driver: Aerojet 9* | Hzrdus Black Gen 4 Fairway: G410 3W 13* | Alta CB 65 Hybrid: TS2 18* | Tensei AV Blue 70 S Hybrid: iCrossover 20* | Kai'li White 80 Irons: P790 5-PW | DG S300 Wedges: Vokey SM9 | 52, 56, 60 | DG S200 Putter: Link.1 | Accra x LAB --- LAB Golf Link.1 Review ---

MattF
Here's my rant. My arse is killing me! I went in for a hemorrhoidectomy on Friday expecting one...she found there were 4 and went to town. They first said it was the turn signal switch all together, which I doubted but I let them try that anyway.Wonder if my wife's 2010 Outback has some sort of similar issue .. appears to be driving fine but ALL the warning lights pop on .. sometimes but not all the time.... She took it in to a dealer, they found and repaired nothing but at least they didn't charge her. Told her if it happens again to bring it back in. And it did happen again, and she did bring it in again. This time it was $200 for ___??? They cleared the scan codes but otherwise no obvious repairs were done.... Today .. she's brought it in a third time.... NY does have a Lemon Law but the car is way too old for that now. Anyway, I'm tempted to just change out all the fuses (like 30 or more) but I suspect there's a deeper, hiding somewhere, electrical problem .. maybe like a grounding fault or a corroded connector or .........?
