yungkory
Had plans to go with a friend to a titleist fitting - he knows one of the local reps - on Wednesday. I don't really have much interest aside from something to replace my 3i, more interested in him getting new clubs. Due to some unfortunate circumstances he can't go this week. I was so stoked for him, now I'm bummed. Made plans to play after work on Thursday - rain in the forecast 80% chance. Saturday Mizuno demo - also likely to be rained out - 50% chance I was looking forward to this week. Now all I have to look forward to is Tiger on Thursday. cksurfdude
Mad. Steamed! Feeling, well, violated a bit. Went out to a pre-surgical clearance doctor's appointment (FOURTH "clearance" check exam in 4 weeks - guess that's a rant-within-a-rant), then got an oil change .. came back and saw I'd left the garage door open .. which is usually no big deal as we live on a very quiet dead end street .. walked in through the garage and seemed to notice it looked like a few things had been moved around .. didn't think much of it as my wife and her daughter had been in and out of there a lot over the past few days for our family and friends Thanksgiving dinner .. but then noticed my "club corner" looked somewhat re-arranged and they had _not_ been back there .. .. heart skips a beat .. walk over .. worst fear confirmed: someone had come in, looked through the clubs and helped themselves to a few hybrids..................... Fortunately .. WHEW!!! .. my "gamer" clubs were in the basement! (heart beating again .. tho very quickly!) And, fortunate circumstance #2, a few new-to-me clubs that I'd just picked up on Black Friday deals at Callaway Pre-Owned were in the car! Kor.A.Door
So we ordered some Christmas presents for the kids through Amazon. We use it all the time with the prime membership and I have never had an issue, we received a package today that was just the box that the item was in, it has a picture of what it is on the box, with the ups label slapped right on, and the box wasn't even taped closed. WTH. It's obviously a gift, why wouldn't you box up the item for shipping. A good example of what it would look like isnif you were to order an IPad, and it shipped right in the apple iPad box with a ups label slapped on it. So it arrives and every knows it's an iPad because you can see it. I work in Logistics, and if we were to send out customers a part in that fashion we would most definitely have a customer complaint of some kind, I will be sending a bad review to this seller with a comment on how it was packeged, all the parts appear to be entact, so hopefully there are no issues. cksurfdude, cnosil, Rickp and 2 others 5 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

cksurfdude
Sorry to hear ck. Parents garage got broken into about 25 years ago. Dad's set he paid 800+ for five-ten years earlier wasn't touched, but mom's Walmart box set got taken Sent from my E6853 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Sorry to hear ck. Lessons to be learned for sure. I have to keep drumming it into my son to close the garage door in the morning when he leaves for school. Sorry to hear that CK, but glad it wasn't worse. Man, sorry to hear this ☹ï¸. I think you're right though in that he/she grabbed what looked newer to sell. MDGolfHacker That's a bummer! Sounds like it could have been worse, so count that as a blessing! I have quite a stockpile of old clubs and bags in my garage. I seriously doubt anyone would want them. My wife would like me to set them out by the curb with a Free sign on them, but I think they would still be there after a week. However, they might get taken if I put a $50 sign on them. Thanks all! Appreciate it .. .. now just feeling a little stoopit and a little mad at myself. So .. hopefully .. yeah, a lesson learned! And @KennyB - that's pretty funny! I know we go to doctors hoping for the right answer. Most times we get that, and other times they are as confused as you are.
