Rickp
I found one of these the other day and put it in play. It was hotter than a two dollar pistol and landed like a butter fly with sore feet! I checked them out at Dick's today and will be picking up a dozen or two for winter play. At $21.00 with solid performance, I'm a new fan. Did I said these things were loooooong! But the feel and distance off the irons & wedges were great. Interesting that they're not as long as last year's model, I was putting some out there that were nearing 300 total yards when I found the middle of my driver. I was planning on testing the Tour B X on Saturday as well, but ended up not losing the XS. Unless one of the other 3 absolutely blows my mind, the XS is going in the bag moving forward It's everything I like about the Vice Pro in terms of feel, but seems to go an extra 5-10 yards. Too bad they're not the same price -- I'll be impatiently waiting for a 3-for-2 or 4-for-3 sale. yungkory
Let me know what you think! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy It's decent for the price, but I think the Vice Pro is a better ball for me, for a couple more dollars per dozen. Need to get a few more holes, or at least a complete round with it. Also, for an 80 compression rating it feels mushy. Maybe it's the core of the ball, or I just need to play it more, but it felt like it was even softer than a chromesoft. Weirdly didn't get a lot of spin for such a soft feeling ball - I stopped playing chromesoft because it was just sucking back too much to be playable. I'd use it again on a day like today though, it was windy as hell and I just wanted to get a quick 9 in after work. For now, I'll play the Tour B XS when I'm trying to have a nice round, and Vice Pros every after work round.
