ruining golf?  that's preposterous...

 

they're just a company that makes golf clubs... I'd be curious to hear what the rationale is behind this.  Yes, they are high-end clubs, but is Porsche "ruining" the auto industry?  The objective is still to get the ball into the hole in as fewest strokes as possible using whatever equipment you decide on... Some people use PXG and some use XYZ...who cares...

 

Sometimes I just can't help but to shake my head in disbelief...

It really is amazing. But I'm sure you've read the comments on the blog article. PXG is not driving up the cost of clubs from other manufacturers. Show me some proof of this. And while you're at it, show me that people who are not playing golf because of the cost (and yes, I'm willing to believe that some people are not playing golf because of the cost) are looking at the cost of PXG clubs and saying, "nope, not the game for me."

 

Honestly, it seems like PXG is pushing the technology, forcing all OEMs to improve.

Agreed PXG is a niche market. They are not driving the market(no pun intended)...
