Because I haven't had a chance to go out to practice with them and have only been able to play league rounds since they arrived.

Pathetic....

So, today, I man up and take them out to play in league round...  I still haven't had a chance to take them to the range or course for any practice.

I would definitely hit them before league play... but that's just me.

Same here. I'd want a bit of time with then first as a safeguard.

I feel like there is a honeymoon with new clubs. In fact, I have tried to convince the boss that if I had enough sets I could play “new” clubs each time and I would win enough money back to pay for them.

But I need to work on my sales tactics.

 

So I would say to give em a rip. If it is a disaster, I am sure there are plenty of potential buyers here if you have a fire sale.

Yeah, retired the TMag's and replaced them with a set of Hogan Ft Worth's.  If I could have made a putt to save my life, it would have been a very good round.  Sadly, I couldn't make a putt at all.  You know it's bad when the guy you are playing with wonders how many lip outs you've had in a single round. Had the same dilemma.  Testing the Cobra F8's for MyGolfSpy's Cobra Connect Challenge II but just got the entire set together last Friday after a few months of waiting.  Made the decision to go ahead and use them on an upcoming round on Father's day instead of getting a few weeks of reps with them at the range.  Trial by fire worked out decent as I shot an 87 from the blues at Renditions Golf Course which has replica holes from famous courses around the world.
