I watched this yesterday myself. I was really surprised at the 50 yard wedge spin!

It confirmed what we've thought all along. The KSIG 3.2 are excellent balls for anyone looking to play on the cheap, and good balls for SOME more discerning players. They will not work for anyone that is a natural high spin player.

Those that are purely focused on distance may have similar issues off the driver with the loss coming from spin x speed. Similarly if you value both the tour performance and don't like the "x" versions of balls like the TP5x or the ProV1x, they won't be for you even though they're dirt cheap comparatively. If KSig can get these feeling a touch less clicky and come up with a cool golf ball logo there will be a serious challenge in the market.

Feel wise I noticed the difference the most this past weekend where I had the opportunity to play a KSig 3.2, a ProV1, V1x, and Chrome Soft X side by side in rotation with forged Apex Pro 21 irons. Yes, I know the Apex Pro 21 have a hollow cavity but it's the closest I've played to full forged thus far.

I tend to prefer firmer balls generally with my D7 Forged-- hollow body player's distance-- where the feedback for strokes is toned down. With the up in sensitivity, the KSig definitely fell towards the back end of the feel preference. Can't say I had any issues with distance or targeting but better and more sensitive players than I will pick this up immediately and will instantly call the ball "cheap". Having said that I still stand by wanting to run a few friends of mine through a pure blind test and would play them on any given day in terms of price/performance ratio.

I bought the wedges and have really enjoyed them, so much it made me pull the trigger on the balls and putter. With the putter, you really need to buy the additional weight set. I have been impressed with the kirkland golf line. For a casual player that hopes to become more regular, the products have worked for my game. I would agree with earlier in this post that the leading edges are sharp and tends to dig, but I see that as a swing problem rather than equipment.

I almost pulled the trigger on Saturday, my first time back to Costco after reading this thread. I think I am going to wait until after my fitting session for new irons and make a decision on wedges then. I will grab the gloves next time I'm there and give them a go.

The grooves in the wedges look almost like “U” grooves in the picture close up (thinking of Ping Eye 2), but that could never be as that would make them illegal.  Maybe a little wishful thinking.  😊

U grooves aren't illegal/non-conforming.

I have thought about getting the putter for my office so many times, but the Kirkland Logo is so ugly, I can't do it. It feels like NASCAR sponsorships.

Just throw some lead tape over the logo in the cavity and on the bottom, and throw away the cover. I used some lead tape to cover the logo on wedge heads, and I'm happy with how they look.

Your comment about the leading edge is more of a swing problem instead of an equipment problem is valid. My problem is it's my swing and it doesn't work with the wedges. 🤬

I have a lot of other issues with my swing that I have to work on and fighting my wedges isn't something I want to have to worry about. I still have my KSig wedges and hit them at home on my carpet with whiffle balls. I wish they worked with my swing as it would save me a ton on money when I have to get new ones...

I use the KSig putter, 3.2 balls, and gloves and love them all. The wedges just didn't work with my game.
