2022 Big Sticks

With leaks all around and new glimpses of products popping up all over the world wide web there will certainly be more and more buzz coming out about the upcoming drivers for this season. What are your favorite or more anticipated drivers coming up?

Side note: As we don't want to upset or cross any embargos for OEMs feel free to comment, but lets not add pictures until OEM's have officially released photos to everyone. Who knows maybe some of them could be coming to MGS testing next season!

But cobra for me. I have really enjoyed their woods over the past couple years and between them and titleist the past 2 I have hit them the best.

I think it'd be a bit frustrating for golfers who have ordered and not received stuff in 2021, to see 2022 products coming out. I have a friend who's been waiting for a 425 driver for several months. Even though Ping is on a longer product into cycle - if it was my driver, I'd be furious to see sneak pics of a new Ping driver before I got my 'old' one.

The SIM2 has been a launch pad for me since replacing the G400 LST.  

I'd like to see an improvement on dispersion.  While it's long, it's not the most accurate driver I've ever played.  Give and take.

I don't disagree with you there. Although I also think that Ping is generally pretty good about not bringing out something that isn't better then the previous model (remember the g400 lst or max stayed around longer). Unfortunately this was always a risk with products this season. 

For me it is 100% Callaway. I have got along with their drivers in the past and from the leaks this new one looks amazing. Our testers seemed to really like them as well.

I love my TSi3 a lot!  But if I see something new from Cobra or TM, I am definitely going to try it!  

I liked my old TM so an improved SIM3 could be in my future!  It was close between the Titleist and the SIM2, but the TSi3 was a fairway finder with distance.

If the rumors of a Cobra LTD return with a deeper face and multiple models turn out to be true, I’m gonna go broke getting all of them!

Like my G425 LST, but lacks the booming distance I have seen in the past, although very accurate. Hoping for a TM that is long and straight like the LST.

I think 22 will be an extremely challenging year for OEMs in regards to customer relationships.

Interesting - I find the SIM 2 more forgiving than the Ping driver that it replaced - dispersion is about the same but I get much more out of my typical miss hit, which is low on the face, than I did from the G410 max.

For me, the most anticipated launch is Ping, and what will be replacing the i210/i500 lines. Those were some VERY successful clubs for them, and what comes next needs to be AS good. 
I agree on the SIM2 line of drivers, not all that forgiving, but long, so I’m curious to see if they come back with adjustability again.

Cobra LD?! Ummm. Yep. I’d be all over those as well!

I’m not biased, though. I like ANY new and shiny golf clubs!!!! I always look forward to hitting all of them, so hoping I’ll find somewhere to do that in 2022!!!

I am glad to hear that.  

I had gone into depth after buying the SIM2 and said that combined with the Tensei white 1k, it eliminated snap hooks...they just don't exist.  For me, the LST was tighter in dispersion but still shorter in length.  I could accept a less accurate club if it meant being 5-15 yards longer.  At the end of the summer, I was averaging 310 off the tee on my final three rounds...that justified keeping it in the bag.
