Looking to get a new stand bag for my birthday and found a great deal on this bag. Anyone use one and, if so, what are your thoughts on it?

I have the original Players 4 Stadry I think from 2019 (prepandemic) and I really liked it.  Either carried or on a push cart.  Was light weight.  Held everything I needed.  Legs worked well.  It’s still in my garage, so if I need to go back to a different carry or stand bag I’ve got it ready.  SheWhoMustBeObeyed often asks “if you aren’t using it, why are we keeping it?” Because some day I might need it… and besides, where else will I keep the two older sets of irons I might need someday…

Seriously, it’s a good bag, and that is why I’m keeping it.  I liked the zippers, and seams, and the stadry material was really lightweight but strong.  From the look of things they’ve reorganized a bit, but the material should be the same. Mine has logged a lot of miles

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it'd be a good bag 🙂

Looks fantastic too.

  • 1 month later...

After a recent trip to Scotland, I'd take the "sta dry" portion with skepticism. I'm sure they aren't made for prolonged weather, but much more than the clubs were wet, everything in every pocket was soaked. I found that the added weight of the bad didn't quite make up for the supposed "waterproof" features. I found a great deal on mine and still use it on occasion, just not when it is raining.
