Second Hand Golf Equipment Business Booming - Pro's and Con's?

Recommended Posts

I originally would scour the 2 hand markets for club deals and have been successful. About 5 years ago I went and did a fitting for a whole bag. I didn’t purchase anything at the time as I didn’t feel I was swinging my best. (I drove over an hour ) 2 years later I’m in Fla and did a second fitting and would you know it almost the same results. (Irons only). I bought them and have been pleased. My current driver was fitted 2years ago (I won the driver and fitting in a contest) my 3wood, hybrids and wedges are second hand. I am currently trying to decide which of 2 model wedges I want to replace.

Last club I picked up was a Rescue Mid 4H. So 20 something years old. For some reason those hybrisd with stock shafts just speak to my swing. Most confident clubs in the bag. Not finding that sucker new

Not sure what I'm missing out on if it goes where I want it and it gaps well.

Hell, same with cars, if I'm buying new, I will gladly take last year's model TYVM.
