Discounted rates / Resident Rates in Myrtle Beach Area??

Recommended Posts

Hey all!

Recently moved to North Myrtle Beach and am excited to play new courses.  The rates right now are relatively expensive so I'm trying to find out if there are ways to save money on tee times.

Any locals know of any lists of golf courses that provide reduced rates for residents?  I know some do, but it seems like they don't disclose that readily.

Are there any local golf pass books that anyone can recommend?

Thank you!!

You can apply for the Myrtle Beach Golf Passport. $49.00 a year I think. You get discounts with the passport and special deals emailed to you. There is also the Myrtle Beach Trail Card for $69.00 initial and $49 for renewals. The last one is the Signature Card and that ones expensive. You can search themon line and compare the pros and cons of each.

Thanks Tom!  This is very helpful.  I'm going to look into these options.

Because I'm from PA, I still have a Tee Time Golf Pass book that also has some SC courses listed.

I’m a member in Barefoot, welcome to the N. Myrtle Beach area! I’ve lived here for 12 years now.

PrimeTime card is the best one., but you should always tell them you’re a local when getting a tee time.

Yes, you pay a little more right now because it’s peak season, but in a week or two things will be back to normal.

@HardCoal99 Also look to join a travel group like the Flounders. They get great rates on nice courses because they have so many in their group.
