GolfSpy_APH
Brought on by another member in their thread, but he managed to play 14 different courses this year! How many different courses did you play and what was your favorite of the season? I know many of you have time left in your seasons and some of you already have snow or the courses are shut down. For me I played 8 different courses. Otelfingen Championship 18 Oberkirch Panorama 18 Schloss Goldenberg 18 Gonten 18 Holzhäusen 18 Weggen 9 Moossee 6 hole course (3 times haha) Limpachtal 9 hole I may still yet get another couple on my list here, however given the conditions I have experienced the last couple rounds I would say I am going to call it a season. Love golfing, but with it being so wet and muddy it really isn't a whole lot of fun. So what courses did you play? How many would be your goal for next year? GolfSpy TCB
My golf travel hasn't been nearly as prolific as many posted above! Next year should be much better as I plan to attend at least a few Official and Unofficial MGS meet ups (Do You Hear Me PNW??!!). This year (so far) I have played 107 rounds (according to GHIN) and 8 different courses. Most of my play is at my home club, Willow Fork - but was able to get out and about a little bit Memorial Park GC (Home of the Houston Open) Apple Tree GC (Yakima, WA) Suntides GC (Yakima, WA) Jersey Village GC (Houston, TX) Sweetwater CC (Sugarland, TX) Quail Valley GC - Eldorado Course (Houston, TX) Cinco Ranch GC - (Katy, Texas) Still working to get an invite to Kingsland CC (where parts of the movie Tin Cup was shot), but that may be early next year. Also would like to go play the Tour 18 course north of Houston before the year end. Next year, my goal is to double my total this year... so 16 or 18 courses depending on how I finish this year. fozcycle, sirchunksalot, GolfSpy_APH and 2 others 3 2 Quote Titleist TSR3 9* (A2 setting) Driver - Graphite Design Tour AD UB-5 R1 Titleist TSR2+ 3 Wood - Graphite Design Tour AD UB-5 R1 Srixon ZX 5W Callaway Paradym 4-PW Titleist Vokey SM9 50-08, 54-10 & 58-08 Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2.5 2023 Titleist ProV1

JerryB
Pretty fun to think back to the courses I played this year! Played River Heights the most by far. Really want to go back to Prairie View, Orchard Valley, and Mill Creek next year. Either the conditions or my gameplay (or both) were poor and I need another shot. GolfSpy_APH
There are a few courses close by that I am looking forward to checking out. Some nice 9 hole courses too that are close by. With kid 2 coming it will be tricky, but I think 9 hole courses will be the name of the game and would love to make it 6-7 new courses for 2023. It is such a fun challenge to play more courses vs the same ones over and over, but I guess if the course is good enough then it really doesn't end up mattering! What do you all think? Played 13 courses in 2022 -- more than I would have thought by probably 5-6. Favorite was probably Pilgrim's Run (Pierson, MI). Had heard about it for years but finally got to play it Pilgrim’s is a great track. I grew up around Grand Rapids and was lucky enough to play there a couple times. Tons of good golf in that area.
