I worked hard at creating it.  Being self-employed has its ups and downs but I enjoy getting to be there with my kids in the morning and being involved.  The wife does RE as well and we work well as a team between home life and work life.

Had the middle sized EGG I won at a mc charity poker run. Used it wice, decided it wasn't for me, donated it to the HS Band. Had a rolling 70" side tray loader smoker. Only used it for the kids band events, so gave that to a friend who started entering bbq comps after they graduated. Have yet to purchase a flattop griddle, as use would be seldom. I've used them plenty at events though. 

Yeah we had a large wood smoker on skids with 3 chambers and a vertical that we got rid of when we moved as it was just to big.  We had a pellet vertical smoker that ended up almost catching fire because of the wiring inside and got a refund.

We are working on buying the lot across the street from us to build our dream home and plan on having the whole outdoor kitchen area for all the cooking devices.  Of course above the garage will be the "man cave" simulator/bar/office room

Thanks appreciate that, yeah we are all going to get to the point when we will no longer be able to golf anymore, sad but true.

I have completed the fort bed and we have the painting done on the exposed frame sections. 

Still want to build a little work station underneath so he can build his Legos but will do that another day.

Real sad no golfing for me today but that is ok, will likely wait until the Paradym gets here. Hope to give yall a great review! I am really jealous of @Josh Parker work life balance. I strive to get to this but right now mine is more work/school and less life, @Jim Shaw.  @Josh Parker just needs to write book on how he accomplished it, and I'm sure it would be a best seller!

No best seller here... I will work until the day I leave this place.  

I have always been good at saving and was single for a long while before having kids.  Ran construction divisions before getting into RE.

Did well on a few real estate deals I owned and was able to pay off home/vehicles so living expenses are minimal.  I'm now working on owning properties to pass down to my kids. 

I work hard and phone could ring at 5am or 11pm and I answer it.  Days I'm sitting down for dinner and head out to a showing because a client wants to look.  My wife and I know we have plenty of time for the kids but when it's work time, we work.

Good Sunday, good people!

Two small successes this weekend...

.. moved wife's extra school stuff out of the garage and into her car (she's taking most of it back to her classroom) and so was able to widen my swing area a little (so no chance of accidentally banging into the board rack!);

..and got her to empty one of the dressers in one of the upstairs bedrooms so we could move it out, then I rearranged other stuff in there, then moved in two extra standing book cases and got all the books out of boxes and storage bins onto the shelves.

Whew! ..much less cluttered now!

And I'm getting the special chicken cutlets tonight as a reward

Well my fellow spies it seems some sort of sick bug has found me. I’m all congested and feeling sluggish. Sneezing and sniffles to top it off.

It's a chilly Monday morning in Tennessee and I'm enjoying the warmth of my coffee before walking in here in a few minutes.

I enjoyed my limited time off over the weekend, I Hung out with my wife and got a couple of small tasks taken care of. Right now I'm looking forward to next weekend and hopefully playing golf.

Good morning spies! Happy Monday to each of you as well. Three days remaining of the 5am start at work for me and then back to 6am on Thursday. I usually don’t mind the earlier start but for some reason it’s really messing me up this time. Sleep just isn’t very good lately.

Starting the day off at 20° and it should rise to around 42° this afternoon. Highs will be back to around 50°for Thursday and Friday so fingers crossed for just a bit more golf this season.

Good morning Spies on this back to work Monday for me, and many others here.

Seems like the weekdays here will be colder than last week but warming back up to mid 40's by next weekend.

With the holiday season upon us, end of the year work gets a little hectic in the automotive world, so I am looking forward to some time off between the holidays.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable is also in your plans.

Had no water this morning. Thought the well went out. Happy to report it was just the pump contact switch. Replaced it with a spare in the garage.  Crisis averted!

Another cold wake up but it looks like we might get a string of days ahead in the 40s which should allow me to get some time in on the putting green soon to get some serious testing done with the Odyssey Ai. Not that I mind working on the putting mat but nothing beats the real thing, am I right? Two four-day weeks in a row for me and then Christmas break. We can do this. Good Monday morning all!

Had a great weekend with a holiday party on Friday evening with a Yankee Swap/White Elephant/Nasty Christmas (thank you to The Office) where my kiddos actually get to play. It is always funny the things they like. My son last year got a 100 piece drill bit set that he loves and I can't use unless I ask him. This year he got a pickle ball set, my daughter got a Grinch shaped bar of soap, and my youngest managed to pick a bit of a joke gift that had a picture of one of the partygoers dog. Joke is on them though she loves dogs and now wants to hang it in here room.

Had my parents up the next day for a nice visit after some cross country skiing in the morning before the rain last night ruins it all. Then Sunday was the chores and relaxing day which is always nice way to end the weekend. Now back to it and getting the week rolling.

Good morning! Early start to the day for me as I had to travel up to northern Michigan for work today. Hopefully things go well and I don’t need to stay the night. 
Had a nice weekend helping a friend move into their new house and putting up more Christmas lights around my house. I even got to take advantage of the warmer than normal weather and got out golfing twice! The cold weather is back so my golfing is moving back indoors for the foreseeable future.

It's going to be high 50's and sunny all week here in Northwest Arkansas which is pretty unusual this time of year here. I intend to take full advantage of it with lots of range sessions.
