Tomorrow I get to finish my roof project that we believe solved the pesky leak.  Afterwards, dad and I are going to walk 9 at the local executive and maybe...maybe see if my daughter wants to walk with us for her first round...we'll see

Good groggy Saturday morning MGS troops!

I'm struggling today to get my arse up. Spousal unit is still sleeping and doing her best impression of a human blanket. Squeakers the Great Dane is hogging half the king sized bed as well. Anyway, no golf today, cold and snow in forecast. I took the ping 425 LST out yesterday and was quite impressed with it and my buddy’s Newton 6Dot. He doesn’t have as good results with the Newton so looks like I’m inheriting it. I was hitting it well in the wind and have suddenly fell in love with the 425. 

Who’d of thought??? I’m also really liking this app: https://golfshot.com/ I’ve finally figured most of it out, and it’s helped with my numbers and swing. Check it out. Hope you all have a blessed and great Saturday! Happy birdie hunting!

Started using Golfshot last year and loved it! Really liked how well it worked with my Apple Watch at tracking my strokes automatically and adjusting distances based on previous shots. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to get the pro subscription again this year but they offered a renewal at for 1/3 of the cost and figured I may as well use it again!

My youngest slept late today meaning I slept late today as well Family day at my parent's place nearby to celebrate my oldest daughter revolving for the 16th time.

Probably bring a few irons to make sure the old man's skytrak is still working properly.

Yessir! I got a good deal on it as well. I’ve used Arccos in the past and was good, but I like Golfshot better. Plus they’re a local company in Colorado even though I’m in Wyoming. Love the swing analysis!

Wow! Good thing I I made oatmeal AND my hot Earl Grey (with the dollop of honey, of course!) I need it to get through the thread this morning! A lot going on in the MGS Nation! Welcome to our new members! You're going to love this group: I stumbled across it in February and can no longer start a day without it and a mug of hot tea! 

It's a dreary cold morning here in Maryland, but there is work to be done! The game plan is to get to the putting green and get in some more baseline data for the Spider right after finishing up on the morning thread. I don't mind a little light rain if that's what's in store. Playing 18 tomorrow, can't wait! If the weatherman is correct on Sunday, we get a low of 62 around tee time (YES!!!) and upper 70's by the 18th with light wind and copious amounts of sunshine! 

I hope everyone has a great weekend and that golf figures into your plans as well! Hit 'em straight MGS Nation! 🏌

This weekend, I’ll probably take a couple of hours to strip off the stock lamkin crosslines and install the Golf Pride CP2 Pro grips. I have those on another set of irons and they are soft and absorb more impact. I think that will help my grip and hopefully ball striking.

Leaving next Saturday for Dallas for business. Planning on taking the clubs so we can play the Cowboy’s Golf Course there for a related event. Will be a good diversion.

Hope everyone can get out and enjoy good weather but more importantly, if you have living parents, please take a minute to call them today. We often get too busy to appreciate the time we have with them. Life happens, I know. But please, take a few minutes. You won’t ever regret spending “too much” time with someone.

Good Morning everyone!!  Cooler today with winds 15-30mph and we are playing the other course in town because ours has a big tournament today.  This course is a desert course and I know that I don’t want to be in the desert!!  Good luck with that!!

@ZoonORama Sorry about your loss.  Prayers going out for you and your family.  I went through this loss a couple of years ago; it’s a difficult time.

@Preeway Glad you are OK; hope that all in the path of these storms are safe.  I’ve been watching the weather reports and the tornados seem bad this year.  My wife is a little anxious because in less than a month we are driving across the country to the MGS Outing in VA.  I’ve worked in the midwest and have been around tornados and T-storms, but my wife hasn’t.

Well I went to play this afternoon to try and compensate for the battering the boss gave my wallet at the designer outlet. No problems through the first three holes then the heavens opened. By the fifth hole it was torrential and sacked it

Just too wet to play and wasn’t fun. Hoping tomorrow is drier. Hope you all had a good day

We live about 1/2 mile north of this business and the tornado was traveling due north at this point in time. We came away with no injuries or property damage but my kids have some friends are homeless today. One of them is on the high school baseball team with my son. My mom had declined noticeably in the past 6 months and I'm dreading the inevitable.

Well, it was a challenging morning out there, especially with the driver and putter only working in fits and starts. Thankfully, I managed to pull together a strong finish with a sequence of 3 pars and had a birdie earlier in the round, helping me to score an 88 today (with 1 mulligan). Pretty close to my target so I'm happy with the outcome considering the ups and downs.

In the afternoon, I played a quick 9 holes at Club de Golf Orléans with my wife—it was her first golf course experience! Things felt much better, ending the nine with a +7 and a much more cooperative driver.

Planning to hit Royal Charbourg tomorrow morning, weather permitting.

Good morning spies on a very wet and dreary morning in London. It has rained constantly since I tried to play yesterday afternoon (It’s 8am here now) and as a result my course is closed today due to flooding. So no golf for me today

We have had such a wet year so far in the UK that it has to get better soon. Up to February this year we have had the wettest 12 months since records began in 1871 and it has been no better from February til now

Guess today will be spent going through all the threads on MGS, well at least until the boss finds something that needs to be done around the house

Playing a new course today. Haven't really looked at the holes, but have been told it is pretty short. I think it is only a par 68 or something like that. Heard the front 9 is open and getable and the back nine is tight and hold on for dear life. Should be interesting to say the least and is a great way to kick off the offseason. 

Tomorrow off to Munich for some MyGolfSpy stuff and back Tuesday night to put the kids back to sleep.

Just hanging out here at work for 3 more hours, All quiet on the home front, 2 more days work the finally more golf midweek. Will be finishing the putting green this week also with the suggestions from @Rob Person and @TJ Hall where to place the holes. Thanks Gentlemen! Pictures to come.
