Just came across this in an IG post. Anyone familiar with them?

they have an adjustable shaft for lie angles on the RX series. Gimmick? Practical? Would you use it?

(Not sure if I put this in the right spot, so move if needed mods)

Never heard of it and as much as I try to keep an open mind on equipment, you have to amaze me pretty quick if you are an unknown trying to enter the market. As it is, I’d probably be a hard pass.

Been around a while;  tried a few of the models.  They are large, bulky, and can be heavy.    A few guys on the Senior/Champions tour used them for awhile.  An adjustable hosel is probably something I would experiment with simply because I like to experiment with putters.

These were a thing for about a minute a few years ago. I believe Ernie Els used one for a short period of time, but I thought they went out of business since I hadn't heard or seen anything from them in a while.

Weird. I had never heard of them until yesterday.  I guess it's like the Billy mays commercials.  One day they are gone, the next day...

I had one when they 1st came out maybe 8 or 9 years ago.  I was intrigued by the adjustable hosel.  The model I had whould actully flip all the way over so the putter could be used either left or right handed as I recall.  It came with several extra weights which was a nice bonus for somebody looking to experiment.  My main issue was the sound.  The putter I had an annoying high pitched "ting" that I just could not get past.

I putted with a Cure putter for several years.  They were first introduced in 2014 and I likely got mine about 2015.  It's a RX3 that I picked up on eBay.

CureFront.jpg.e535cb6d3df3663ce62f700e425a5aa3.jpg  CureBack.jpg.9ed5cc97299ca07b6c297f8083b3c646.jpg  CureTools.jpg.18e64fea787b07a33ceb547313eb0366.jpg

It has al aluminum body that makes a unique "ping" sound when struck.  As mentioned the lie is adjustable.  You unscrew the four screws in the backs, make the appropriate adjustment and tighten them back up to lock it down.  The back plate comes off which allows you to change shafts as well.  The silver disks at the toe and heel of the putter are used to help in aligning the putter.  When you place the putter behind the ball it creates a triangle with the two disks which is suppose to help in getting the right overall alignment.  The putter comes with an accessory bag that includes the Allen wrenches for tightening the various screws, eight weights (four heavier steel and four lighter aluminum) and six screws to accommodate various combination of weights.  You just unscrew the back screws, put on or take off how many weights you want and tighten it back up.  It's very simple!

Overall, it was a decent putter.  You had to get over the sound and depending on the weights the putter could get heavy.   It does give you the option to play with type of shaft, lie and weight, so if you like to tinker it's interesting.  I putted with it for about four years or so.  I probably should have swapped out the bent shaft for a straight one and I tend to prefer a mallet look rather than the Cure's blade-ish look.  It eventually got replace by another highly adjustable putter:  Brainstorm Golf mallet initial Happy Putter.  If you haven't seen one, they are a flashy blue color and even more adjustable than the Cure putter.  Unfortunately, Happy Putters only live on eBay anymore as the company didn't make it.  Both of these putters were banished to the shed after I got my LAB DF2.1 putter!

Wow. Nice info. Thanks.  Im not considering one, but was definitely curious about it.  I guess as with ANY putter, you adjust to its features to gain maximum results. As with so many companies producing "interesting " equipment,  I suppose this one might be attempting a second chance comeback.

I’ve had my Cure RX3 for about a month and I absolutely love it. It’s like cheating. I’ve spent some time getting it adjusted and it’s been point and shoot ever since. Definitely not a gimmick.   Some of guys I play with have accused me of having an illegal putter, I’ve been rolling it so well. I’ve always been a pretty good putter and this is taking me to another level.

If he brings you to it, he’ll bring you through it!
