Still windy and poopy outside. Good evening MGS Troops! Hope all is well. Got a lot of work done today so that’s good.

How'd you all do? Maybe I can get out and golf a little tomorrow. Los poopies have been driving us nuts. Brun-nasty has been farting up a storm too. Lucy keeps chasing him around and that makes him fart more!

The other dogs are just watching and wondering why. There you go, my evening. Have a great evening!

Pet farts are the worst! My cat will jump on me, lay on the foot rest and just let the silent ones go!  Then non chalantly strut away

Snagged a diamond plate toolbox for the pickup today after playing 27 holes,  for $40. No keys, shocks blown, cross lock bar missing,  and filthy insides.  But no dents or twisting. Ordered 2 shocks for 8.99, looked up the key code off the lock, and grabbed the jar of lost keys. Had 2 that fit it! Worked the lock with some penetrative oil until it moved freely. Simple green and dawn soap cleaned up the insides nicely (with some bristle brushes and elbow grease) found a piece of 1/4 " rod, drilled the end, bent it on the vice and bam! Cross latch works again. Picked up a roll of sticky door draft sponge and lined the tip. Also ordered the locking clamps for the bed.  Now all I need is a stretch of rubber mat to trim for the bottom and edge wells.

Also smoked some chicken breasts for dinner.

Productive day!

Not a good night, spent the day at the hospital with the mother in law, still don’t know what is going on with her. Going home we had high winds (again) heavy rain(again) and then they added tornado warnings. What a week so far, practiced some putting in my office to release some stress, supposed to be nice today but won’t get the chance to play probably until next week.

Hope all is well with MGS nation, I think I’m going to have some Kamakazis when I get home tonight.

Work was hectic and definitely had my mind in overdrive the last 2 hours! Came home to some goodies from an IG contest I won a month ago. Mini G brush from GrooveIt, some pocket club pick/brushes and a cool magnetic golf towel from FN3P. Got my toolbox Installed as well.

Gc duties tomorrow and Saturday for a tournament.  Hoping to get some rounds in over the weekend!

G'day fine folks of the evening thread. Played 18 today in Apple Valley. Winds were actually not too bad and the course was in much better condition than the course I went to for my previous two showings. All in all though, shot +25 for a 96, my 3rd +25 round in a row and my 3rd consecutive time breaking 100 so I guess that is wasn't just luck of the course after all. Was a beautiful day for golf and all in all, any day on the course is a good one.

Well, the long drive to Vegas to pick up my Fiancé's aunt and come straight back was littered with pit stops including one specifically for beef jerky and a bag of rocks you fill up and keep for like $10. Cannot take her anywhere without the smallest bit of novelty I swear 😂

I-HATE.jpg.9a61e221771867662f27e8c52f5fbdb4.jpg

Glad to get home and kick my shoes off for the night. Tomorrow is a coursework filled day as I have been dreading writing these sociology assignments (it's all in your head Michael) but that is what tomorrow is looks like.

Hope you guys had a more enjoyable day than myself

Lesson this afternoon was interesting and proved to be very fruitful. Interesting in that changes needed are very minor and fruitful in that I was launching the ball off the tee again. Instructor started with typical iron warm up routine and observations which led to two discussion and focus points. Then we moved to the driver and another focus point was discovered.

1. Grip:     L/H grip position was fine; however, right hand was a little weak.

2. Clubface:    Slightly open at set up and throughout swing.

3. Downswing:     Little to no weight shift (hanging back) with the driver.

Made changes to the R/H grip position easily but when squaring up the clubface it appeared closed to me which took a bit to accept. Of course, shots hit after these changes were left of intended target but at least I was making contact and getting it off the tee again. Not sure why I was hanging back but once he identified the issue, I was able to correct it unconsciously while focusing on the other changes.

After 5-10 swings I finally returned to making good solid contact and launching the ball. It was a relief to finally understand what I was doing and know what is necessary to get back on track.

No range time tomorrow due to what is termed as a solid 100% chance of soaking rain. Will attempt to back after it Sunday afternoon providing range is open as now, I feel I can do the TPT shafts some justice again.

Posting in TPT Shaft testing thread as well as here.

Our GC is hosting the ASUN championship this weekend. This is one of the most coveted tournaments amongst college players.

I was able to get some 1 on 1 pics of the trophy... look at some of those names!

The chancellor whom I was speaking with said that there is over a billion dollars in Pga winnings associated with this trophy.
