What kind of golf brush do you use?

I've tried them all...

  • little pocket brushes,
  • amazon brushes with the lanyard that stretches,
  • amazon one with water,
  • I had a grooveit but the brush fell off and now I have a 25.00 magnet...

I need something to clean my clubs while I play; what's your favorite golf brush?

Real men only use ONE brush:

LOL here I am being boring again. On the course I use a wet towel and if necessary on the short irons use the towel and a tee to clean the grooves. I do carry a small spray bottle with Simple Green or Dawn in it in the trunk of my car and use a common bristle brush. I use both on my clubs and grips. I get to the course early and part of my routine is to check and clean my clubs if necessary. As much golf as I play I do clean the grips weekly.

At the house I have an old ball/club washer combo like goes on a golf cart. I salvaged that thing many years ago off a cart that was submerged in a lake after it was totaled. I actually have it mounted on an old golf cart tire and rim (came off the same cart).

Like I said I am more traditional and boring

Boring works.  I have a Grooveit but it gets used only with the most egregious mishits on soggy ground.  Otherwise, my damp towel and a broken tee usually do the job.
