Pulled the shaft and put in kbs hi rev 2.0 125 and bbf ferrule and blue Pure pro grip to match my other wedges and feel. Of course some custom paint fill.

Took it to the trackman, spins great (in between vokey sm7 (8500) and Mach Daddy 4 (10,000) in the 9000s which is great and higher than I get with the RTX4 . Played 18 with it and it felt very nice (not as soft as my Wilson Staff or Maltby Ts3, but very good feel and spun great. Softer than the vokeys and MD4 with good feedback and amazing feel when pured.  Great wedge you can find for cheap as good as anything (within reason) out today. The grove milling is still very good and comparable to current models as you can see.

But today I'm sniffing around a new rangefinder. I have a Bushnell Pro XE I got back in 2018 and I'm looking at picking up a PrecisionPro Titan Slope.

@cnosil another reason to switch is the SkyTrak requires an internet connection at startup to check its license. The range at my club has almost no cell signal so I couldn't start a hotspot for the unit, so I couldn't use it there.

Oh yeah man, that makes sense. Probably not something that wouldve crossed my mind when shopping for a launch monitor.

Recently replaced my Callaway Mavriks and a 4h callaway rogue st max with 4-PW set of Srixon Zx5 MKII. Little treat to myself for after I improved my game this year as I have quite a bit more time to commit to golf. The swap from game improvement irons to players distance irons has been an overall positive change for me.

I’ve been playing with 3-5 hybrids for years now. What works for me might not work for everyone else . My friends don’t say a word because they know I hit them solid.

I got this off of Ebay and it just came in yesterday. I'm actually surprised I won the auction because I have been watching them go for much more and maybe everyone was too caught up watching football an not paying attention to the listing. I needed a hybrid that isn't a hooker and I believe this guy will fit the bill. I only hit about 8 shots with it last night as it was raining but I didn't hook a single shot. Either straight or a baby fade.

 I have the same Stealth + 3H. Love it. Absolute weapon. I have mine cranked down to lowest loft and use as a driving iron replacement for the most part. It’s the first hybrid I’d tried that didn’t have a left bias too.

Got a new Dynapower Carbon head + adapter and hc for $175 and used my Diamana zf 50 shaft. So far loving it. Only one outing but it looks way better in person. Also tried the royal chorded grips and I really like them as well

My bottom line is if it works for you then it works.

We had a gentleman at my old course (now closed) who at the time was in his mid 70s. He carried like 5 hybrids, a Trusty Rusty 56*, putter and driver. Man could he utilize those Hybrids. He shot around his age or lower most rounds from the Senior tees. That course closed in 2019 and I have not seen him sense.

We also have like 4 or 5 players in my league now that carry mostly hybrid sets and they are good players too.

Well, I broke down and got 2 things. I found a discount code on reddit for the ezepod phone holder/tripod/ground stick. This should help me in recording my swings and course play alot easier.

It's similar to all the other ones, but got this for 40%off and free shipping making it only 56$ compared to normal $100 price tags for this unit and others of similar options out there.  (I tried temu first with no results)

I also picked up a grip caddie grip cleaner on sale too.

Changing to a new course with a lot of doglegs off the tee and big old trees with long branches overhanging the inside curve of the fairways, so it'll be helpful to get the tee shot distances.

@cksurfdude, Chuck have you used these before? Were they be truly beneficial on a local course that I play on a somewhat regular basis to potentially hit different distances or shots to score better, meaning better understanding of the correct place or location to hit you shot too?
