Jmikecpa
Agree, doesn't sound right. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I would agree. I have a buddy that was a solid 6 two years ago and went to see a well known instructor. Now two years later he can't break 90 consistently. I understand it is a process but two years and thousands of dollars later he is worse off. For the most part I am self taught and know my swing better than anyone which is good and bad. The good is that I can fix things rather quickly myself. The bad is that I don't have a second set of eyes to help fix me when I go really off the rails. Golfspy_CG2
Feedback, I'm sure he's gotten plenty of feedback. BTW, how does someone pick that as a life's profession? I'm Sure it's a calling. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Exactly...I see him usually twice a year (due to being high risk for prostate cancer) and I always leave his office after the exam thinking, man he does that what 15 to 20 times a day!! And then for this procedure, I know just from scheduling with his assistant, he had 6 others scheduled that day as they only take 10 minutes or so per procedure. Although I don't think that factors in the allotted 15 minutes of crying like a baby afterward... Remember how Nolan Richardson used to call his defense 40 minutes of hell. Well I know what 10 minutes of hell feels like....ha Rickp 1 Quote G430 Max 10K TSiR1 15.0 Aldlia Ascent 60g TSR2 18.0 PX Aldila Ascent 6og TSi1 20 Aldila Ascent Shafts R T350 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM10 48F/54M and58K S159 48S/52S/56W/60B Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1 Play number

tony@CIC
I took lessons for three years with one instructor - I really liked him. The majority of lessons were driver. After three years I still struggled with my driver. Earlier this year he left Ohio for South Carolina. I took a couple of driver lessons with a new instructor and he immediately pegged the issue. Drives became straight and long. Then later on in the season the drives deteriorated. He happened to see me on the driving range struggling and stopped by. Ten minutes later the drive was back. So two things - maybe you need to change instructors. The other is that it is a process that sometimes gets derailed by old habits. Big money
I would take a lesson once per month.During the lesson,on the range, mirror work: would always do exactly what the pro wanted. For some reason once on the course,it all disappeared every time.Almost like i would just freeze over the ball and have no idea what to do.No matter the swing speed I could never once replicate what he wanted me to do.And my game just suffered from over thinking and analyzing.Decided to just swing again and the scores and frustration improved dramatically. The countless hours of off course work would never bleed over to the course swing.Im going to try again and do my best. cksurfdude 1 Quote Keep it in the short stuff
