Shankster
After further review. This drive was the shot of the day. Shankster
Mentioned this shot in another thread. Finally found the middle of this thing I think. I had set up for a little fade, but aimed improperly it seems. Missed the fairway, but if it would have kicked forward I would have made the green. Now, just need to remember how to find the center of Mr. 3 Iron… Shapotomous, GolfSpy_SHARK, MattF and 3 others

GolfSpy BOS
Shot of the day for me wasn’t a flashy one. The 4-Hybrid (or well my TSi3 3-hybrid set to 21* and flat) off the tee on the third hole. If I looked at a map of all my shots on this hole you’d see a lot of shots that ended up left from over drawing. It was so nice to see the straight/fade off the tee with the hybrid to the center of the fairway. ncwoz
My shot of the day came on a par 5 after a great drive and then so so wedge that left me in the greenside bunker. I was short sided, probably 15 feet of bunker to the lip, 5 feet of fringe and 10 feet of green, all running away. Tried a little 1/4 swing and...chunked it 2 feet forward. Set up similar and...chunked it 2 feet again. Tried not to loose my mind, and decided to open the face waaaay wide to pop it up and take distance off that way instead of the shorter swing. Made a nice committed swing, and holed it! Driver - gap wedge - lob wedge - lob wedge - lob wedge par. Syks7
Had an approach go off a sprinkler head 40 yards past the hole into hardpan dirt. SOD was my recovery flop shot back to a rear flag with no margin for error. Opened a 56 up took a 3/4 back swing and slammed it down hard to use the bounce. Ball popped up landed just past the fringe, checked up, then tricked to six inches. It saved a bogey on what probably should have been a snowman. One of the better flops I e ever made. bens197 and MattF 2 Quote Driver 0311 Gen 5 -- Tensei CK Orange 60 Woods 0341 3W -- Tensei AV Raw Blue Hybrids 0317X 2&4 -- Tensei AV Raw Blue Irons ZX7 4/AW -- C-Taper Lite 110 Wedges T7 55º @55/7 -- TT DG Spinner Putter DF2.1 or Link.1 -- Accra Ball Zstar Diamond

The nicer courses are nice because they limit play by either charging an arm and a leg, limit membership, or have very spaced out tee times. My course is private and in fantastic condition because we only have around 250 members and a portion of those are only social dining members. I have 3 other public courses close by and the conditions are not even close to my club. I only go there when there is an outing at mine. The public courses get more play and the golfers don't do their part. They don't rake traps, fill faiway divots, repair ball marks on the green. On the private ones the members do their part. And take pride in their course. I can honestly say my handicap is as low as it is because I have such good conditions to play on. sirchunksalot, MattF and bens197 3 Quote Driver, TSi 1 S Flex 3 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 7 Wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 Hybrid King Tec MMT R Flex Irons, Tour UST Recoil 95 R Flex (6 - Gap) Wedges, Snakebite KBS Hi- Rev2.0 54* & 60* Agera 35" Ultralight 14-way Cart Bag
