TSauer 4,105
We're all here for one reason, but why? I'm sure everyone has hated golf at some point, whether that be before you took the up the sport or after you got hooked... but we've all been there. The crazy thing is, we always come back to it. Personally, the reasons why I love the game of golf are endless. The camaraderie, the outdoors, the challenges, playing new courses, the list goes on and on. So, why do you love it? 6 Quote G400 Max G410 3W G410 3 & 4 Crossover i200 5-PW Vokey SM7 | 52-56-60 Taylormade Spider X

kardboard.kid 2,087
Golf is like a really good addiction. That long putt you sink"like Tiger" or that incredible drive that seems to go forever. Your first birdie, or eagle, or hole-in-one. How about beautiful nature, good drink and friends. Well that is just the tip of the iceberg for me. sent from planet Nebulon 5 Quote F7+ w/Fujikura Pro XLR8 Graphite Shaft STi Irons 5-SW KURO KAGE 70IR Flex-R Lamkin Grips King F6 Hybrid Matrix Red Tie HQ4 Graphite Shaft Forged FGT 60* wedge KURO KAGE 70R SS cross Comfort grip O-Putter 1W
Flipper554 881
I love golf because there is no timetable. I can play whenever I want, with whoever I want. The game is never the same, be it course, weather or how you feel on that particular day. You are always in search of the day when it all comes together. I also love the social aspect of the game as well, I have met and played with some fantastic folks. Like the folks on this site golfers are generally good to hangout with. 1 Quote Driver: Cobra F8 Tour length 3W: Cobra King F7 3/4 Wood 5W: Cobra King F7 5/6 Wood Hybrid 3/4: Cobra F7 20.5* Irons: 5 to PW Taylormade P790 A Wedge: 48* Vokey SM6 F grind S Wedge: 54* Vokey SM6 M grind L Wedge: 58* Vokey SM6 M grind Putter: Rife Two Bar Hybrid 35" P2 Aware Tour grip Ball: Taylormade TP 5X Bag: Hot Z Canadian flag 🇨🇦

PING Apologist #9 4,562
Good subject TSauer. There are endless facets to this game I like a lot; The tradition, the challenge of every shot-even on a course you've played many times, the quiet, the camaraderie, the nature, and of course the beer..! My most favorite? The gear of course. I am a hopeless gear junkie for all hobbies or sports I've ever taken up. From baseball, to skiing, bowling, competition shooting, fly fishing and now golf, I gotta have the best gear I can get, or so my ADD brain tells me. As long as I am satisfied that I have the best gear possible, then I cannot ever use it as a scapegoat for any personal performance deficits. I've always rolled this way. Na, forget about all that... Heh, it's really "All about the shooz!" But more on that later in my pending "Shoe HO's Anonymous" thread.... 2 Quote In my DLX Cart Bag: Driver: G410 SFT, set to 9.5*, Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange 60, stiff (MGS Official 2019 Tester) 3W: G-Series SF TEC, set to 16*, Aldila Tour Blue ATX, 65g, stiff 5W: G400 SFT, set to 19*, Aldila Tour Blue ATX, 65g, stiff 7W: G410 SFT, set to 22*. ole gray 16,403
I've played sports all my life and took up golf later in life. It's the only sport I can physically perform now days and being outdoors is a must for me. I've made a ton of great friends through golf, the challenge of the game is addicting, and although I'm a hacker, I love heading out for another round. 5 Quote Callaway Epic Flash 10.5 Driver Callaway MAVRIK MAX 3 - wood Callaway Big Bertha 2019 4 & 5 hybrid Tommy Armour 845 MAX 6 - GW Irons Cleveland CBX 2 54 Degree SW Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Putters: Odyssey Stroke Lab Black Big Seven Arm Lock Putter Odyssey Triple Track 2-Ball Putter Odyssey Triple Track 10 Putter Cleveland Huntington Beach SOFT Premier 10.5C Putter Utility club: Square Strike Wedge 45 degree aka pocket picker

yungkory 9,857
For me, it's all about family memories. I took it for granted when I was young, but since I started playing after my 10+ year hiatus, I've come to appreciate all the time they spent teaching me the game. Also, the green fees they spent holy moly! I've said it before on these boards, but if you play with one of your loved ones -- cherish that! Forget about how your round is going and just be thankful you're able to get out there and play with them. 4 Quote Driver: SIM Max 10.5 Fujikura Motore X F3 5S 3w/5w: TSi2 Tensei AV Raw Blue 75S 4h: CLK 22* Hybrid Tensei CK Pro Blue 80HY S Irons 5-PW: JPX 919 Forged Nippon Modus 3 Tour 105 S Wedges: RTX Zipcore Tour Rack 50 Mid | 54 Full S-grind | 58 Low Relief Grind Nippon Modus 115 Wedge Putter: L.A.B.
