Popular Post rkj427
Good morning Spies on a colder St. Patrick's Day Michigan morning. I did manage to get a round in yesterday, in not so ideal weather, but with the high today only going to 40 degrees F, and the wind still howling, unsure if it will happen again today. Popular Post sirchunksalot
Good morning everyone! I woke up a little earlier than I wanted due to a crick in my neck that's I probably developed yesterday when I fell asleep on the couch. At least the pups are happy to have someone up to snuggle against. It's a little rainy right now but I'm glad it's nothing like what hit up around @skraeling. I feel sorry for those who did get hit with that hail, that stuff can do some major damage. @Josh Parker happy birthday to your daughter! @rkj427 I'm glad to got out and were able to play yesterday, Robert. The crock pot will be getting loaded with a corned beef flat, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. And a bit of broccoli for me as the slow cooked cabbage isn’t my jam. We also hit one of our favorite cheese makers out that way. Popular Post ParFore74x
Good morning spies! Third and final day of the soccer tournament in Las Vegas today, although we don’t fly home until tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon’s weather was better but it’s still been chilly and rainy here for the last couple of days. 65° and sunshine forecasted for today though. We did make a stop at the PGA Tour superstore yesterday. I didn’t pick anything up but both my wife and daughter did. Daughter told me yesterday that she really wants to start playing golf so now I’ll have to get both of them to the range to start swinging clubs. Apparently taking them to TopGolf in Minnesota back in December really stuck with the kid. Happy Birthday to your daughter @Josh Parker! Hope she has a great day. Popular Post EasyPutter
Good morning MGSpies from a chilly but only mostly overcast WNY on this St Patrick's Day Sunday, home from the 4 day 5 hour Spring Break trip to NC, SC, GA and back. Son did all the driving in his own vehicle putting 2667 miles on with 825 of them yesterday in our 14 hour trip back to pseudo spring/winter (snow back in the forecast for this week ) but the sun is currently shining! Golf on Wednesday in Fayetteville sunshine and on Friday under Augusta cloudy showers, and Thursday was an enjoyable walk at Cowpens National Battlefield under sunny Chesney skies. In our true family version, the tour was a blend of historic facts, tactical analysis of terrain and military forces, and application of current technology for a fictional and humorous account of what "really happened" sure to entertain those who enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail (as our story and that of the visitor center are widely divergent) Son is heading back to RIT today for the last 6 weeks of his semester and college academic requirements for graduation. Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! @ZoonORama Glad she is okay! @ParFore74x Learn to swap shafts. You can get decent steel shafts like these https://www.hirekogolf.com/apollo-junior-steel-golf-shafts.html for about 6 bucks each. WAY cheaper than buying a new set every time she grows 2 inches. You can swap 5 or 6 shafts over a few days never taking more than 20 minutes at a time. Any you will have to invest under 50 dollars in a shaft clamp, tubing cutter, and a heat source ( a heat gun works best but for steel shafts you can use a propane torch or hair dryer). The 9000 heads to the practice area today for some more work with the chipper. Did some time laps testing and some math and made a cool little video and will post an update in the Maxfli Tour X testing thread in a little while. You can get decent steel shafts like these https://www.hirekogolf.com/apollo-junior-steel-golf-shafts.html I do greatly appreciate the insight on that but, unfortunately she’s already 17 so that option will not work for me. I’ve got an older set of graphite shafted clubs that the wife and daughter can share for the time being and we will see how serious that they want to take it first. Daughter is only an inch or so taller than my wife so it should work out. cksurfdude, rkj427, Cfhandyman and 3 others 6 Quote TSi3 10° w/ Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 65g TS2 15° 3W w/ Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.0 70g 818 H1 21° Hybrid w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 70g MP-18 MMC 2 iron w/ KBS Tour C-Taper S 120g JPX 921 HM 5-GW w/ Project X LZ 5.5 115g JB Forged 54° & 58° w/ Project X LZ 6.0 120g EV5.3 Black
