The golf camp is fun. 3-4 golfers for 4 hours with the focus on your goals and what you want to work on complete with videotape and analysis I really like it in that my coach will spend 5-10 minutes with you, make some suggestions and give you some drills to work on and then rotates to the next participant. I've got a few rounds in with my new Sub70 286 54* and JB FG 58* wedges and I'm especially enjoying the JB FG 58*! It seems extremely versatile! Have a good day everyone! Popular Post Wheelieb
Well, two things of note. I didn’t shoot 100, which is great since it’s been a while since I was able to play. A 98 though isn’t something to write home to mom about. The second is, whenever I have hit my driver it definitely sounded…off. Since it is the Callaway Paradym AI Smoke, even typing that is long, I figured it was just how it sounded. Anyway, I took it out on one of the holes that begs a driver to be used on, and I noticed some fur on the toe side of the club head. Strange, so I inspected more. There’s a crack o that side that I have no idea how it got there or when it got there. Called Callaway and since it’s under warranty they are replacing it. Looks like I’ll be a Callaway fan for a long while. Popular Post fixyurdivot
Top of the pot spies . No golf today but yesterday's round will see me through until Monday . Temps here in AZ are cranking up and summer is in full stride. Yesterday's high was 115F and next weeks forecast is low teens . Early tee times and getting off the course by 1100 is the new schedule. We've got a couple of short trips to higher elevation locations in the state planned - partly to visit them but also to get a break from the oven. Summer living in the greater Phoenix/Tucson area is much like being snowed in during winter in many places around the country. But, depending on what your hobby/interests are, I do think AZ has a slight advantage... so long as the AC keeps working . Have a great start to your weekend everyone! Popular Post sirchunksalot
Good morning everyone! I've been catching up on the forum and drinking coffee so far this morning. The animals are settled in and sleeping like they pulled an all nighter. Yesterday was a good day, the wife and I went out looking for ideas to build a kitchen island and I came home to UPS having delivered the Vortex Anarch for member testing. Going to head out to the course later to see if I can possibly squeeze in 9, the course usually dies down during the heat of the evening. If I can't play, I'll hit up the range and compare the V4 and Anarch by measuring the markers. I hope y'all have a wonderful Saturday!
