On the way home from the golf tournament yesterday evening, I noticed some in our neighborhood has irrigation water running. After golf this morning I'll be testing out our system to see if repairs are needed. It's about time... our lawn is looking a little stressed. BTW, our team finished tied for 6th place with a round of 60 (-12) on a very difficult course. Best we have ever done in a scramble format. Winning score was 56. Popular Post sirchunksalot
Good morning MGS! I hope each and every one of you have a great start to your morning and a wonderful day. I'm settling down with a cup of coffee and snuggling with the dogs. Just thankful for another day getting to be here talking life and golf. I want to touch on what happened at work yesterday since it's now on the news and I feel like I can mention it. Our plant has an internal road to move vehicles and allow trucks to deliver parts. The plant is fenced in and we have a very large parking lot up the hill. We recently opened a gate around row 40 for employees to access the plant and have a bus that runs internally to transport employees to the building. As some people were getting off the bus, a car being driven way too fast struck 3 people. We had one fatality, one who is in critical condition, and one who was just banged up. It's heartbreaking that someone lost their life to a negligent driver. There are rumors as to what happened, but I won't expand on them. I also feel for those who were at the smoke shack that witnessed what happened. One lady that works on my line saw it happen and you could tell she was visibly shaken. I'm not going to lie, just hearing about it shook me. I walk through that area every morning heading into work and you just can't help but think about the what if's. EasyPutter
Good morning on a peaceful spring morning in WNY, warm breakfast and hot chai tea this morning for a good start @sirchunksalot that is something that brings up memories of similar tragedy at a school I worked for, senseless irresponsible behavior with a vehicle causing irreparable harm and death to someone in harms way who had every right to be where they were. Thank you for mentioning so I can send my intentions to you Jason as it is something I learn something more about each time the memory is visited. House jobs today to do what I can as the next 12 days are all that stands between "normal" life (as if that word can be used with me) and the week of PGA HOPE Secretary's Cup and PGA Championship. That week with its bounding weekends will be total go time with very little home time. Hope everyone has a great last day of April and golf in your day Rickp, GolfSpy_SHARK, cksurfdude and 6 others 9 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. Prodigal Duffer
Good morning, spies. It’s a beautiful day in Texas. After church this morning, my son and I are headed to the course. He just joined the push cart mafia and this will be his cart’s maiden round. It will be first round with the VERO X1 ball that I’m testing for MGS. I foresee an update to the Prodigals thread and to the X1 official thread. Have a great day, and @sirchunksalot, glad you’re safe. sirchunksalot, BKervin, Josh Ross and 5 others 7 1 Quote 2023 MGS tester: OnCore VERO X1 ball 2024 MGS tester: Edel Array putter Driver: Callaway Epic Max 9* 3W: Ping G425 max Irons: Srixon JX5-MKII (5-PW) 48* Titleist Vokey SM9 52* Cleveland RTX Zipcore 56* Titleist Vokey SM8 Putter: Edel Array B-
