I made “family famous” lasagna on Saturday and we went to Mass on Sunday before they continued on their East Coast adventures. Then my wife and I attended another friend’s retirement party at Full Boar Brewery in North Syracuse. I know it’s tough duty to spend time at a brewery.

Good morning and Congratulations on your retirement.  I retired in 2014, but because of some of my duties, I gave a 1 year notice so that some of the transitions that needed to happen seamlessly.  One thing that caught me by surprise - for me, Monday was always a rough day due to a lot of unknowns, so I’d periodically check emails starting late Sunday afternoon and evening, feeling the stress building back up. Monday was my least fav day.  On my first Monday of retirement, that all disappeared, and Monday became my fav day.

Long ago I got to go to Greece for a 2 week stay- (Hops are a WONDERFUL thing). I REALLY loved it. The scenery and people were fantastic. Couldn't take my clubs though- REALLY took a liking to the Ouzo- almost got me in a little bit of trouble though. We live and learn!!!!!

GM Y'all- another fun filled thrilling day at the fantasy factory- Hope the ones lucky enough to go out today have a great round/practice......... Didn't get to do any golfing over the weekend (except for some ATTEMPTED practice time Saturday morning). Wind was whipping through all weekend. Oh well, there'll be better days ahead. My new wedge order is being processed- so hopefully I'll get them sometime soon and the wind will die down at about the same time (I KNOW- I'm asking for a lot, but.....). Let's get this week over with.......

I debated hitting the course this afternoon. But after the 80s temps we had a few weeks ago, I'm now in "Damn it, I'm tired of being cold!" mode.

Congratulations on the retirement! It's sounds like you enjoyed your first Monday of freedom. That just means you can get more rounds in with the Paradym irons.

My attitude exactly. I tell people all the time I am not in a hurry because I am retired. Lately since joining the league at my club I am sorta on a schedule but it is only because I want to. If I get tired of that I will do something else again on my terms.

Status Update: I've been informed by the "Enviromental Control Officer" (I'm not allowed to touch the thermostat. ) that I am now in charge of Vacuuming Services.

Good morning! I hope you are a having a great start to your day. There's not much happening here, I'm just chilling in my car, drinking coffee, and catching up on forum activity. Seeing that the testers were announced for L.A.B. and Garsen is a nice start to the day.

I'm hoping the coffee kicks in soon since it's Tuesday and usually the day my brain is foggiest. It'll be ok, I'll get moving before too long and get energized.

Got our storage room cleaned out of 3 years worth of cardboard! 

Testers Announced and all that done. Which I will admit each morning I do it I think it will only be 20 minutes and by the time all the posts are made, email, social and such it ends up being 2 hours haha.

I can imagine with all the announcements and social responsibilities it can take a lot of time to accomplish. Sometimes I'll spend 10-15 minutes on a post just to make sure it doesn't sound like I'm babbling. 

I'm definitely ecstatic to see the growth of the community and seeing more newer, active members brings a smile to my face.

Good morning everyone! I can now finally say that I'm 33 years old, just as I've gotten used to saying I'm 32 haha.

I just knew with a little birthday luck I'd get to do some L.A.B. testing but excited for the six lucky testers to experience the magic! 

No golf on my birthday, we've got to head out of town for another baseball game tonight after losing a close one last night. The boys are playing well though and I'm confident we're getting that W tonight!

Good morning everyone. Looking forward to a slightly slower Tuesday meeting load than yesterday and tomorrow. Got some net practice in which was nice to continue to get settled in with the wedges but looking wet today so that is likely is not in the cards. The end of the week is looking nicer though so looking forward to that. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone, I woke up and was looking through the golf bags and I think I might try and swing it into a Father's Day gift. Back in February my kids wanted to buy me a new golf bag(current one is older than both of them) but I wasn't sure how much golfing Id be doing so we went a different path. Working 4 10s this summer has opened up a lot of time to golf.

 

Anyone else going to hop in on getting one of the MGS bags?

Good morning Spies, My first cup is being consumed with a second surely to follow. I awoke to sun, golf is on the agenda. Granted it’s 43 degrees but the sun is out. I was contemplating the Jones Golf forum bag but I bought a new bag last year, a Ping Japan exclusive. The collab with Jones Golf looks simply amazing. Not gonna lie, I did “build” a bag on the website in Sienna. 

I am looking forward to following the L.A.B. Golf test. As I commented in that thread, I hope there is an Evnroll putter in one of the tester’s bags. A battle between their technologies definitely interests me.

Good morning all! Weather is trending in the right direction in my neck of the woods so golf is on the agenda for at least one 9 hole round with my oldest Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Maybe two if we are lucky and SWMBO gives us the green light. Also (hopefully) getting a weekend 18 in with my Tuesday league partner as we start in two weeks. He just picked up a couple new to him Cobra LTDx hybrids and was pumped for me when I told him about the Cobra test as he’s a big Cobra woods guy. Im working on getting him on the forum!

If golf is on your schedule today, hit them long and straight! ️
