It’s possible. The other possible, and IMO likely outcome, is the inexperience of the offense holds them back. No doubt there is talent in the building, especially on defense, but the youth glares through too often to this point. I had them in the 5-6 win range realistically with a ceiling of 8-9 wins.

It was an understandable oversight given the mental fog due to the packers loss! 

The ravens found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again.  How you fire a pass low enough to hit off a defensive linemans helmet for a pick 6 is head shaking.

Finally getting to see the bad times most other fans suffer through for most, if not all of their homer lives, some never having even a viable NFL QB, while you pampered fans that think because you watch games late in the season in almost intolerable winter conditions that counts as a suffering fan. Lol this was a very enjoyable read. Also, in total agreement that there is not another heir apparent HOF QB in Green Bay. I WANT to say that Love is going to be a serviceable, good but not great QB, but I just don't know if I've seen enough. The accuracy is a glaring issue. Lots of youth on that side of the ball, hopefully next year things look a little better. Heck, hopefully at the end of this year. Oline needs to improve and I would not be upset to see the front office try to make a move for a bonafide WR1, but that's not something that front office does . LT Joe Alt would be a very solid draft choice if in position to do so, as I think Bakhtiari's time as a Packer, potentially as an NFL player, is done. Sadly, because he's one of the best I've seen do it IMO, but health history is not in his favor at this point.

And to be fair, I along with a multitude of other Packer hating NFL fans, do not wish doom and gloom for every Packer position or even the team in general. Clay Mathews in his prime was one of my favorite Packers. Still have and wear his jersey. The new #52 I am a big fan of as well, especially because he was seemingly written off as a waste of a pick and a bust because he didn’t necessarily live up to his high school ranking while at Michigan. Love me some Rashan Gary

... Well the enthusiasm for the Saloon seems to waning with little involvement from the regulars. I kinda thought it might pick up in the off season. So it is appropriate that after avoiding Covid for years now, my good friend flew in for 5 days of golf. Great having him here and we went out to dinner every night and played golf everyday. He flew out of Phoenix Tuesday and Wednesday I get a text he tested positive for Covid.   As much time as we spent together on the course and in the car to and from diner it was just a matter of time. Woke up Thanksgiving morning and knew it had started.

... I know there are many degrees of severity so glad I don't need to be hospitalized at age 70 but it is like having a really REALLY bad cold. Killer headache, congestion making sleep impossible, chills and fever on and off and aching all over. Those of you that know me will understand I am throwing healthy supplements at this thing and thankfully I have a pretty good immune system. One of the real bummers is I had 5 people coming over to earth the Bears game on my 85" TV and surround sound system and always cool to be surrounded by a crowd. But of course I can't infect my friends so had to call it off. 

... At least the weather is really nice.

Sorry to hear that, dude. Covid sucks. Even if it is more of just a really bad cold compared to what it used to be. It still really sucks. Hope it passes soon and you get back on the course. Can’t wait to be a snowbird myself in AZ one of these days.

... Thanks, I always prefer a win. (While the Bears have the Panthers pick ) but a loss at this point ain't a bad thing either.  I'd like to see them get Maye then trade their own pick for a better spot next year, unless there is a player that fills a need on the board and is worth a top 10 pick.

Was watching the NFL pregame and they did the gift guide for team fans.  Bears was a 2024 calendar that starts April 25, 2024 since nothing good is going to happen for the Bears until then

 I think it was more that Minnesota lost the game than Chicago won.   Offense was pretty poor.    The bad part about the win is that it moves them down with their second first round pick.

... I hate to be That Guy and come on here with a rant but I am just so furious about this abomination against everything I hold sacred and have to think at least several of you feel the same. Watching the Dr Pepper halftime participants not "THROW" a football onto an opening like the announcer described but do a chest pass and if the girls playing field hockey saw this spectacle they would smack 'em upside the head with their Mulberry Wood Hockey Stick. Since it is a FOOTBALL with laces THROW A PASS do't do a chest pass like drunk Shooter Flatch demonstrating at a Hickory practice. 

... They only have 30 seconds so Justin Fields should be able to get 2 passes off. (Note: He didn't see Mooney and got sacked 5 seconds later)

... Gym class in High School they put a 5 foot square on the wall and from 15 feet you had to throw a pass and get in 2 out of 10. Nobody threw a chest pass. The DC was my gym coach and he said if I didn't get 10 out of 10 he would make me run laps at practice AND I had to throw from 30 feet. I hit 19 in a row before he just laughed and told me to stop.

The Dr. Pepper scholarship contest isn't football,  it is a contest to get as many balls into the hole as possible for $100K.   since these participants aren't  on the field, they aren't football players; therefore they choose the method that they believe will help them to accomplish the goal.  Kind of like the various putter grips that people use to accomplish putting.   I believe the chest pass approach started when someone using that method beat a person that was throwing passes.
