Cobra 50th Anniversary Driver Photos... as promised

I haven't been able to golf in a couple of weeks and I've been dying to hit this thing! So, I decided to mess around in the garage this evening with my phone and some Hue lights, hoping this will hold me over until I can get out next. Enjoy!

I couldn't agree with Jamie more, that's a phenomenal job of taking photos. I hope you can get out and hit it soon.

I was able to get out during lunch for a little bit and FINALLY hit a few balls with this. I haven't played a round of golf in probably three or so weeks, so I don't know if this was "time off" luck or what, but wow.... I love this thing! Two shots, dead center of the face, with a slight baby fade.

This hole plays about 300 yards ever so slightly uphill, with a slight headwind this afternoon. Both shots ended up just short of the green. I will take those every day.

I agree, after coming from a Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero the Aerojet sounds amazing.

Absolute NUKES! As the AJ Max and I have basically parted ways for the rest of the year, I can’t help but wonder if I didn’t have such a bad day with driver during my fitting what the standard model would have played like. Just looking at a different shape at address that would have been more similar to my TSi. Also, that sound…. I do love the sound they make. Ball just exploding!

What I just realized is that most of my drivers have been the Max versions. G400 Max, G425 Max, and the other current driver in bag the Rogue Max. This AJ has been the first time I've hit a 'standard' version in a long time and something about it just feels... right. I played the TSi3 for a little while now that I'm thinking about it, and I really enjoyed that too. Maybe I just now learned I'm not a Max guy lol.

I hit the standard during my fitting because they didn’t have the max in LH and hit some good drives with it. But I went into it with the intent of trusting the fitter and what they think would work best for me, so I went Max. Honestly it’s a good driver, and when I have hit it well it goes. It’s just doesn’t seem as hot as the Titleist. I know it spins more, too, and that is probably why I don’t see the distance potential with it like I do TSi
