Congrats Testers...I;m really looking forward to seeing some of @TJ Hall numbers on this, especially after having played a round with him at Kingsmill during the outing and seeing the speed he puts on the ball.  Add speed training to that and watch out!!

It looked like a sleeve would be included in the box with the Rapsodo, was waiting to see before purchasing any.

Will be looking at purchasing a sleeve of standard balls as well to compare spin readings between the two.

I am not sure the system gives spin numbers without the RPT ball but I could have that wrong. Easy enough to find that one out

I believe you're correct. My Garmin R10 gives estimated spin numbers without a special ball, but I don't think the MLM2Pro does that. Also, a sleeve of RPT balls comes with it. Caveat: The special markings that allow the cameras to calculate the spin wear off quickly, especially if you're hitting into a coarse net (a smooth screen is better, somewhat, but the markings will still wear off).

There are various things out there where you can basically make your own RPT balls, including a stencil setup and actual stickers to apply to the ball. Those will wear off too, of course, but a lot cheaper than a box of Callaways.

Been playing around with Canva a bit as my wife had used it a bit. Whipped up a quick logo for the test and hope to use it to make so visuals and info-graphic like products for the test.

Same here…would love to see a Friday delivery for this!  Already have a round (league) Saturday morning and then no other plans…

I’m going on a golf trip to NH/VT from August 8-11.  I’d love to take it with me.  Playing Montcalm GC in NH then two rounds at Jay Peak in VT.  I’d love to get my numbers on my new irons finalized before the trip.

Have a great trip. A couple of very nice courses there. Montcalm just hosted the NH Open and is where Dartmouth golf team plays. Should be a great round.

I get to play there once a year.  Montcalm is beautiful.  I’d love to get some glamour shots of the MLM2pro

I just got my mlm2. Titleist is in the works to releasing pro v1 RPT balls.

At home set-up is ready to go, only one thing missing…

Net was a little more complicated to put up than I was hoping, but should get better with time.  Take down was no problem.

Hit a few 52 degree wedges and 7 irons just to see how it went, no issues at all.  Didn’t go all out as my neighbor’s truck was just out of frame to the left and I had visions of shanking one into the windshield after @Berg Ryman mentioned needing some more balls…got me a little worried!

During full use I plan on turning the net around where there is less that could go wrong!

You have more courage than I do! My net is set up inside of my garage for fear of launching a wedge over it and into a neighbors window

Haha, don’t let stupidity be confused with courage!

Part of the reason I only took some partial swings yesterday.

If I turn the net around and hit the other way, there is a marshy area with a bunch of trees before any concerns about hitting a house.

Wanted to take a moment while we wait for devices to start showing up to outline how and what I am hoping to test. Net testing, range, and on course should be easy enough to test out and working on setting up the GC Quad testing. Let me know if there is anything else folks are wondering about for this test.
