Yeehaw! Congrats gents! I would be really interested to see how this performs outdoors and on range as that is primarily where I can utilize a launch monitor. Have fun out there and will keep a close eye on this one!

Same here...I want to see if it performs any better on natural grass as I don't use an artificial surface driving range and don't have an indoor sim space at home.

I plan to test it indoors on a mat, outdoors on a mat, as well as outdoors on natural grass. A lot of people are in the same boat when it comes to sim space, so hopefully we can give some good feedback on how this LM works in all scenarios.

I'll give a preview of my set up materials as I am upgrading my net and mat. I'll have a full PC and net set up in the garage. I'll be using a Spornia Spg-7 Net and 5x4 hitting mat which I will likely create a landing plate for the Skytrak to sit on and be level with the hitting surface. This will be the main area for any course simulation. My only concern is being able to hit anything above a 4-iron giving the ceiling height of ~9'. I'm hoping I can hit woods and drivers but it may affect my strike. For outdoor set up I will use the same net (or the driving range) and will try out the app for IOS on my phone to start for the basic practice mode. Once I get the garage setup and going, I'll take some actual pics.

Good on the selected testers. Can't wait to read these reviews and see if the price point and what it brings to the table makes it worth more than the MLM2Pro. I also appreciate that swood 94 has posted his starting setup as far as net and mat setup. Really curious how the unit will hook up to his PC and how his setup works out.

More to come on that. I'm going to try and run a wifi extender on the PC first and see how the connection works and back up will be running ethernet cable direct from the modem to the garage (luckily close by). My initial thought is a strong connection is key especially when running the full sim programs.

This is what I'm working with as far as home testing goes. The plan is to move my workbench out of my garage and over to my shed (2nd pic). My garage ceilings are 9' and with me being 6'6", swinging a driver will be cutting it close. I've made a few practice swings and I've had my mat/net set up in there before, but only ventured as far as a 4 iron. If the garage does not work out, I will be moving to my shed, which has plenty of room. The only downside is no concrete floor. Testing outside, I plan to just hit off of my patio area with a mat.

The net I'll be using is a Rukket Hack with a Country Club Elite 5x5 mat. I'm really considering picking up a Spornia, I just haven't pulled the trigger yet, as the Rukket has treated me very well over the years.

 

I'll be testing it with my custom PC as well as my iPad Pro 5th gen. The PC is running an Ryzen 5 3600, 32gb RAM, and an RTX 2060 Super. Looking forward to getting started!

Congrats @TSauer & @Swood1994! Really looking forward to following along with you guys on this test as my garage space would work much better with a system like Skytrak+ where you don't need so much room behind and in front of the ball.

Update: just secured my new (to me) and upgraded PC to run the Skytrak. Mind you I’m not technologically challenged by any means but custom build gaming PC’s are a little out of my league. Luckily I was able to work with some friends to get a decent rig to run this. Pics and specs coming tomorrow!
