I knew we have a few weeks left, but it's time to start thinking about the BEST golfing moment of 2014...

 

Is it Bubba's 2nd Masters, with a MONSTER drive and SW to get home in 2 on 13?

 

Is it Kaymer's Blitzkrieg of the field in the US Open?

 

Or Michelle's first major a week later on the same course?

 

Maybe it was the summer of Rory? Lose a fiancé but gain two more majors in the process?

 

How about another European whoopin' at the Ryder Cup?

Most definitely, it was the 80 foot winning putt made by Paula Creamer to win the HSBC Open.

It's hard to look past Rory, he was in no real form in the early part of the season - how many posts did we have on here about clubs and stuff? Then bam, he's won 2 majors!

 

If he'd get the non golfing side under control who knows what sort of year he could have.

Lots of great moments, but IMO the best moment is Bubba's eagle bunker shot on #18 on Sunday at the WGC HSBC Champions to force a playoff against Tim Clark. AND then win with a birdie on the first playoff hole. What an incredible, unlikely shot!
