So I've been playing Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips for a long time, back to when they first came out. I recently overhauled my bag with a Qi10, Titleist T350 irons, and some Vokey wedges. None of these had grips that I liked, so I decided to try the Super Stroke Traxion wraps and I actually prefer these to the Golf Pride wraps. More cushion and just feel better overall.

I love the Tour Wraps, I have them in White on my set of CB2 irons, and a Black one on my 5w.

The only thing is they are not easy to hold onto if your hands are really sweaty 🫸💦

Going a little wild this year, but I am bagging the PING S159s I got to test for the forum… so why not, more content for all 😂

So far starting at the start of the year I got a 12* Epic Speed driver, restored some Ben Hogan Edge GS irons, Adidas Code Chaos spikeless high-top shoes which are pretty saweet imo, and got the center shafted PING Sigma G Kinloch C and cut it to 33” - excited about this one more!

And now, I found myself back on Callaway Pre-Owned getting a new shaft for the Epic Speed. I am finding the center of the face really well after cutting down the driver shaft on the HZRDUS Smoke Green im10 mid that came with it. The only issue is that I am hitting the ball verry high, tuned down to 11*, draw bias to counteract the face opening a little.

On the way is the Kai’li White 70 S shaft. I hit a lower spin shaft during a club tune up and saw slightly better numbers. It was heavier, which felt great, but hadn’t had it cut down so wasn’t quite hitting it center. I am really excited to see how this works after I get it installed and cut down to my preferred length. It supposedly feels softer like a blue profile, but had low

I’ll keep ya posted on my high loft, low/low shaft combo experiment, I think this is going to be very promising.

I have been looking at the Code Chaos for walking the course, how is the comfort on them?

I had tried a pair - I think I have a pretty average foot but for me these were too tight in the front half. I've had other adidas golf shoes that fit completely differently than these... So see if you can try them on in a store before ordering?

Definitely will look to try them out. That is a problem I am having with the Pumas I use the most. Comfortable everywhere except the front.

They are incredibly comfortable. Easily the best shoes for comfort I’ve worn for golf, and they still feel like there’s a solid base there. Not sure if there’s any difference in the upper with the laceless, but the soles seem like they’ll be top notch across the code chaos offerings. Would recommend 🤌

As far as the front portion towards the toes, I am in between sizes and went with up vs down which could have helped. Again, the uppers on the laceless might be more forgiving on the toes since it’s got a little extra elasticity.

Just purchased a mitsubishi tensei av blue 65 stiff shaft for my my epic flash driver. I tried the R flex but I have to hood the head in to keep from slicing and I am afraid of that snap hook appearing. Hopefully this will work out.

Could work out. For me the Hazrdus blk and the tip stiff lower launch shafts like the Ventus TR/Blue and prolaunch red, diamana white/ahina helps with the slicing.  I do love the tensei AV blue in my FW woods

Just bot ANOTHER 20 yr old Callaway 454 Ti B Berth driver.  Found MINT condition on ebay, $45 including shipping and Calif. tax.  For some reason, this club works for me.  I found one in a donation bag a year ago, hit it, jaw dropped.  I went back in time to read the reviews, lots of WOW, HOT, etc.  Wonder why Callaway moved on.  Maybe not workable for you better skilled guys???  Anybody with an answer I'd love to hear.  Now I'm thinking using the shaft from one to re-shaft a newer driver I have.

Drv: PXG 0211 10.5 deg, Evnflo Riptide CB 40 gram A flex; and 2004 Callaway 454 Ti 10 deg on RCH 65 regular flex.

Because this 5 wood is the easiest to hit wood I own, I decided to grab the XJ1 driver. I was able to find it for $70 shipped and it had an extra stiff aftermarket air speeder. Now in the time this driver came out, they were asking $600 for it in 2016 and 400 for the woods which was JDM premium prices. Didnt sell well but the tech is there from the mild carbon fiber to various new metals. I was curious if it could compete with my current drivers and first day using it had my longest drive so this season so far at 310. Super lightweight but I may end up putting a heavier shaft in as it seems to often go right as this Xstiff is somewhere between r+ and s and very torquey as it was aimed to Japanese market. These are fantastic clubs. The woods are still better than anything else for me but finding a 7 wood xj1 is near impossible. Keep your eye out if your looking for an easy to hit and undervalued fw or driver.

Wishing you have better luck than I've had with Titleist hybrids.  Had an 818 and TS2 (both in the 20 degree range) and both were brutal no matter what shafts I paired with them.

This putter and the grip which I blew on with an air compressor for the first time.  Mind-blowing

I picked this up because I spent like 2 hours at PGATSS and couldn't pull the trigger on a $650 DF3... Yet

I made a big mistake today.  I was browsing in a golf store today and randomly saw a lonely putter just being absolutely shamed to no end. They put it in a back corner behind a staff bag full of new putters.  I meandered  over and moved the bag and pulled it out from hiding. It had a jumbo max grip, a red shaft, and it was a lefty. I plucked a few balls from the practice cup and began rolling it.  This putter was just buttery smooth. Sank 8/10 putts from 16 feet and in. The other 2 misses were by inches. I  got brave and finally flipped it over. It had a nice orange clearance sticker stating  it was 99$. Ladies and gentlemen,  I am NOT the proud owner of this gem. Its an Odyssey stroke lab mallet putter.

I asked the counter guy how long it had been there, and he said he didn't even realize it was sitting back there...

I asked him to call me in a week if it's still there, and I may go back for it. Been looking for another left handed putter for awhile now.
