thinking about adding the hybrids..do you know if they any good?

I have the 3h and 4h, both are solid, I really like them, I dont think they are as "long" as some, but I can hit these far enough, and for me they are very straight. I have the XCG6 models, and I got them for less than $40 each. Found the 3h practically brand new from golfsmith for $35, I liked it so much I went to EBay and bought the 4h for like $38 plus shipping. At that price I think they are at least worth a try. I also have the xCG6 3 wood, and my backup is the XCG-5 3 wood, which is also a great model, and really good price right now.

Well, I took the Wilson Triton out for a test drive yesterday. It stayed up with my Powerbilt as I alternated hitting both off the tee. It eventually surpassed the Powerbilt in distance and center of fairway. Today, after my regular round I made the purchase. The Triton is in the bag with a Regular Aldila Rogue Silver(60 grm). I can't tell you the price, just in case Wilson spies are in the house.......but I got it with my Christmas and Birthday gift cards to the Pro Shop. Let me tell you it is the sweetest feeling off the face when struck well. I had ghost tape on the face yesterday and all my hits were in the middle.

Well since my new Cally Big Berta 2016 Fusion driver is taking longer than a mule plowing an acre field on a  hot July day to  get here, I went to plan B. I pulled out an original Big Bertha driver out of the woodshed and put that puppy in play.....  I put a new grip on her and cut er down to 44.5 which is my preferred length. I'll be taking them boys money like one of them parking meters at Saturday night juke joint.   thanx.gif

Just won a set of Bridgestone J40 CB off of the bay 5.5 project X shafts.

Don't even know why I bid on them, my MP-5 irons are working great for me.

Because that is what we do. Have you ever had enough golf balls?

You think the 10 dozen Pro V1's I have in my garage are enough?

You think you ever have enough wedges or putters? NEVER I tell you NEVER.

Picked up a set of Adams XTD Forged irons for my Vegas clubs. Bag will be Adams XTD driver, XTD Ti fairway and hybrid with the XTD forged irons. Now to find som wedges to round it out.

I have to use up my credit at my previous club and can't come up with anything else that they can get at the moment.

Nah. Shaft choices are crap unless you go custom.

 

Plus I won't buy it unless I can hit it with said shaft first.

Rather just flip a Scotty for a % of what it's worth.
