Popular Post golfgunguy99
Well after my last frustrating round I decided to change my putter and driver. The driver is the new AI smoke max fast. I found out that at 71, I no longer have tour speed swing. I just got the driver yesterday and headed to the range to give it a try in real conditions. I’ll keep you posted. Popular Post Northern Monkey
Always liked the look of the Vokey wedges but never actually owned one. After catching part of the community call on Thursday I took a closer look and really loved the look of the SM9 brushed steel. Popular Post IndyBonzo
The effusive praises of so many here convinced me to roll the LAB putters at my local store. And they were so sweet. I kept going back. And back. And I sent in my remote fitting video, got my specs, and I found a used DF 2.1 in my specs with the BGT shaft on the bay at a really nice price, and pulled the trigger today. It should arrive Tuesday, just in time for next weekend's golf trip. I am absurdly excited to try this out on course and see if it kicks the Scotty out of the bag! BrianL99
Based on MGS recommendation and Sub70's 30% off, I decided to buy 2 of their Wedges ... a 54 & 58. Tried them at the range today. Hit 15 full shots with my PING Glide 54, all solid, straight shots. Hit 15 shots with my new Sub70 54. Shanked 12 out of 15. Hit 15 shots with my Callaway PM Grind 54 ... all quality shots. Hit 10 shots with the Sub70 58 Degree. Shanked 8. Hit 15 shots with my PING Glide 58 ... all quality shots. I'm not going to speculate why, only mention that I'm a 5 handicap at 71 years old and a pretty good wedge player. I did have a similar problem 20+ years ago, with (2) Scratch Wedges (Ari Techner) made for me. I never could hit them. Also, the Sub70 Wedges were supposed to be customized to +1/2" over and 1 degree upright. The 58 arrived 3/8" longer than the 54. I don't have a digital loft/lie, so I can't be sure about the lie. On the other side of the spectrum, it's clear to me, why MGS found these wedges to be so accurate. I don't think I've ever played a wedge, easier to set up to the target line. I'm not sure why this is, but chipping with them was dead on every time. Rob Person, ejgaudette, ChiefMikeOfficer and 5 others 5 1

Popular Post aph_cb
Today I finally switched from 3 wood to 5 wood. I adored my GBB epic 3w but it was finally starting to get so beat down that I’m worried the face might crack soon.
