I'm not sure that they're any less prone to twisting as the Crosslines, but they feel much more cushioned as well. I'll probably do them again. dlow206
In an interesting twist, the Masters themed Steelfibers that I won, they now gave me the option of Regulars or Stiff today. Shapotomous
I am starting to look for a 15 - 17 degree fairway wood. The spousal unit took custody of the RBZ 13* after trying it a couple weeks ago and the 17* i20 Ping hybrid I use is ballooning too often. I recently hit my 1980's staff 5W during a classic club round and liked the ball flight a lot better than the i20. I'd play the old 5w but its about 25 yards short, so the search begins. All of my putters are blades and I'm curious to see if a mallet would help me improve my putting. I notice that my putter head will twist on me a few times per round and mess with my start line, wondering if a larger & heavier head would help quiet things down. 3 hours ago, ejgaudette said: Thinking the exact same thing. Might try to pick up a used one or a cheaper new one like Clevelands offerings, plus I think there is something to the variable groove they and others have. psssstttt......... Vegan_Golfer_PNW
Thinking of tinkering with the idea of a 10.5* driver with a low launch/low spin shaft. Having a trackman session today to dial in my driver experiment but worried i may not be getting enough launch. Maybe if i win a driver contest (or a testing opportunity) I can test this theory out before actually getting fit again. sirchunksalot, Shapotomous and Rickp 3 Quote Follow my journey to enjoying golf and going low Driver: Epic Max LS Ventus Black 6x 44.5" 3wHL: Rogue ST LS 75x Tensei AV Blue w/ xlink 7w: Apex UW 21* MMT 80S DI: Caley 01X 18* with KBS PGH Stiff plus 95g 4-AW: 0211 with KBS Tour Stiff 2.5* up 3/4" long, Soft stepped, MOI matched Wedges Zipcore Putter: L.A.B.
