silver & black
2 hours ago, Shankster said: Not very much contact, but a friend had one growing up. They are cool dogs. We lost a few of our four legged friends over the years. It was always hard getting used to a new pup in the house, and they didn’t seem to work out for us. We waited a few years this time, tried a rescue that did not like me at all and settled on a lab, he is a goofy SOB. When our Dani boy started limping around back in Michigan it took the wind right out of my sails. I rescued him from a bad situation and he was a heck of a companion. It is so tough when it’s their time. The one we had to give up before that, Graham... my neighbor left a golf ball out in the yard which he swallowed and got stuck in his intestines... I was broke at the time and couldn’t afford the 7k surgery. Luckily the rescue we had to give him up to did it and he got a new home, still irked that they wouldn’t help us out and let us have our boy back. Sorry, that probably didn’t help at all. But these four legged friends get to me. I am really sorry you had to say goodbye to your buddy, and I hope you can meet a new buddy that works with you. It helped more than you know. I love my dogs... dog now. I have no one to come home to anymore. My dogs are my boys. The one I had to put down was very close to my heart. I loved that dog! 150 lbs. of big, slobbering baby. I probably need to wait for a while before I rush into getting another dog. My other dog will be 14 in April. His time is close to an end. I love him, but he has never really been my dog. He loves my ex and my daughters...lol. I asked about the Cane Corso because my Vet has one that needs a home. I love large dogs, but I don't know how my other dog would handle a year old puppy. sirchunksalot, tony@CIC, GolfSpy_SHARK and 4 others

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....” Author unknown... tony@CIC, fixyurdivot, MattF and 3 others 5 1 Quote SIM2 8º | KuroKage XD 70TX SIM 3W 14º | Fujikura Atmos Black Tour Spec 9TX SIM2 5W 18º | Fujikura Ventus Black 10X U500 2i | Fujikura Ventus HB Black 10TX T100 4-PW | Dynamic Gold X7 SM6 52* SM8 56* SM8 60* | Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 DW | BGT Stability Tour

Our kid just got back from college and is keeping her distance within the house and wearing a mask for a couple weeks to make sure no symptoms show up.
