It’s Glacier run off water.  Yup it’s clear and  bright blue. The water temp is around 60F mid day.

1 rabbit

1 squirrel

2 opossum (or the same one twice, not sure)

3 chipmunks/ground squirrels 

Rabbit, squirrel, and opossum(s) all just catch-and-release.  Chipmunks/ground squirrels not so lucky — one injured, two presented to us as offerings.

Haha…our 16 year old is the same way.  He used the same bed with the same padding forever, wouldn’t even use the bed if we replaced the padding.

Between She Who Must Hunt and a pest control service we may have finally turned the corner in our battle with the 13-lined ground squirrels.  Have not spotted any around the foundation of the house in almost 2 weeks.  Even the burrows along the fence line don’t show much recent activity.  I feel a little sorry for the 3 that SWMH caught, and a bit perplexed that the pest service only got an additional 3.  Could have saved some money by just letting SWMH take care of things by herself.
