RoverRick
I hit the flag today and yesterday 4 times from 48, 74, 83, and 113 yards for tap in birdies, but a chip-in for another birdie was today's shot of the day. Wedges have been very straight once I started standing a bit closer to the ball, and now my distance control is coming around. revkev
This one - I also hit a couple of very nice drives. I'm clearly getting longer - I was four over but that's deceptive because we have five holes with the fairways torn up - on the front I played the alternate set up which was a par five from the landing zone and two par 4's from 150. On the back I just played two balls on 10 to replace 17 (both par 5's but 10 is longer and more difficult than 17) and two balls on 14 to replace 18 (no comparison - 18 is much more difficult than 14) Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Rickp, Shankster and GB13 3 Quote Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60 Aldila R flex - 42.25 inches SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft Ping G410 7, 9 wood Alta 65 R flex Srixon ZX5 MK II 5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex India 52,56 (60 pending) UST recoil 75's R flex Evon roll ER 5 32 inches It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

GolfJunkie302
Rolled in a smooth 30 footer for eagle today in a tourney! I have only played that particular club three times and have eagled the same hole twice. Sent from my SM-T580 using MyGolfSpy mobile app 511 yard par 5... hit a good drive and left myself 185 to the pin. Pulled 6i and rolled off the back. Two putt from there for bird. Another par 5, hit a bad drive but had 235 in, all carry over a hazard. Stuffed a 3 wood to 15 feet and drained it for eagle. That makes two eagles for me in three days! 🦅 Sent from my SM-T580 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Made another eagle today! Good drive, 3 wood from 250 to nine feet and sunk it. Not gonna lie, I've made maybe four eagles in my life but I've made three more this week alone. Now I have a lot of pressure on myself for the next round... Sluggo42
Second shot of the day 6 iron off the bark due to a pushed first drive. Had to go over a gap between some tall trees with a little cut from 160. Struck it well, but not enuf cut to get back to the green, so it went into the bunker. Mr. 82
5th hole, par 4, I left my approach shot on the fringe, pin high, but about 60 feet from the hole, with a two tiered green facing my next shot. So I pulled out my trusty pitching wedge, played the perfect chip just like a pro, and watched as the ball landed halfway to the hole, and just rolled perfectly to the bottom of the cup for the birdie. I honestly can't remember my last chip in, but it's been a long, long time for something like that to happen to me. And I just looked at my buddy and shrugged, because up until that point in the round I was playing like total crap. But I'll take a birdie any way I can get it. PING Apologist #9
At Quail Hollow in Boise Saturday, par-5 7'th playing at 479-yds, nailed driver into the wind to the middle of fairway to win longest drive skin... Unknown distance from the tee but with the downhill slope from the box and the wind factor, it was most likely 225 or so. Next shot from here I took 5W out (my 3W shaft is busted at the adaptor and currently out of action) and striped one of the better shots I've ever hit with it in during a game. On the green in 2!!! BenjaminButtonz
Absolutely CRUSHED the 3 wood today. I usually hit my standard shot around 240-250 with a light draw off the tee. This particular swing flowed & connected SO clean with the ball mark dead center after. This is the reason I use my 3 wood off the tee a lot more than my driver. pulledabill
Par 5 ..2nd shot ended up in trees in the right rough about with about 140 to the stick. Thought I would punch out leaving as n easy wedge shot and hope to get up and down. After looking over the shot i said to myself "i got this". Opened uo an 8iron just enough to clear the low left side of the tree and set up to cut the ball in. Played it perfectly but about a club as short as i expected as I didnt think a 7 would clear the tree. My game shots are expanding as I woulda have normally punched out to a likely bogey.
