588 CB Cleveland Irons

Hello there,

I just ordered a set of Srixon Z565 4-PW. For the last year, I played a set of 588 cb. The clubs look just awesome and give perfect feedback and are very traditionally lofted.

Just wondering: anyone else still gaming them?

Always was looking at this set, but any I come across were pretty well worn out.

I guess, I was lucky then. I found one set on ebay new for about €200 or $230.

Hopefully, I will never get rid of them in a weak moment.

I have a very good friend who has been gaming these for about six years now and is not planning on letting them go anytime soon. I played a round with them in 2014 (std loft/lie w/ C-Taper stiffs) and they are perhaps one of the most pure, perfectly flying and still forgiving set of irons I have ever hit. Now that I am looking into rebuilding the bag, I am kind of bummed that Cleveland doesn't have these, or something like them still in production.

Still play them and will continue until I win a contest to get new clubs or something. Hitting a pure shot with them is the best feeling in the world, and they're still pretty forgiving considering the size.
