For the cobra connect challenge I'll be gaming the F8+ 8-11* with hzrdus yellow 75 6.0 S.

I haven't had a new driver since the R11s, and at the time I didn't have the cash to get the proper shaft in it! Really looking forward to hitting this ROCKET LAUNCHER!

Played Thursday with the F8 tour length driver and it is the best driver I have had in quite some time. Sounds great, feels great and goes for ever with a nice piercing trajectory. I don't think you can make a bad choice with this club.

Compared to what drivers and how is it better?

Previous two drivers were Ping G and R15. The F8 is more stable through impact than both. The dispersion is better as well even mishits don't seem to lose much distance. The tour length shaft 44.5” and the heavier weights in the head make the club feel like you are actually swinging something of substance and it just gives me more confidence to let it go. The sound of the club is good as well, muted but not dead.

Cobra took the F8+ Tour length off their website. So if I order the F8+ cut down will they send me the heavier weights?

I would hope yes but I would imagine you could order the F8+ and ask for the Tour Length Setup in it. If you know your local rep they may be able to help you too. Mine was gracious enough to gift me a free 16gram weight to put in the front port of my regular length F8+

So I woke up this morning with the F8+ on my brain and I can't seem to shake it.  Unfortunately I am sitting here at the beginning of an 8-12" snow storm with 50mph winds (I hate Iowa weather) so travel to compare for myself is out of the question!  I am thinking of unloading my 2016 m2 and taking a flier on the f8+ but am hoping to justify it a little more for my common sense side!  I played the fly z+ and ltd for a brief period as well as the bio cell+ for a year.  The bio cell+ had the perfect head shape and the ltd was the best feeling driver I ever hit but both lacked the adjustability I look for.  I am a major tinkerer and rather enjoy going the range and messing around with adjustments, even after finding the right ones.  Adjustable weights are perfect for me as I never play my driver any longer than 44" and usual more towards 43".  This allows me to get my swingweight back up since I am not sure who around does hotmelt.

 

For those that play the f8 or f8+ and played the fly z+ or king ltd, how does the face height compare?  I can't seem to find any pics that compare them.  I prefer a deeper face driver as my misses are more vertical than horizontal.  If either face is similar to the bc+ or fly z+ with the feel of the ltd, it could be my holy grail!

Anybody know a good low/low shaft that really unloads through impact. I had one a few years ago and love that feeling but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. Lol

Thanks for the reply.  I should have specified I need stiff to x stiff.  The paderson shaft only goes to senior or regular  flex in the 50g range.  I have the new colored blue and that was a high launch spin for me.  I do realize that as I go down in weight the odds of finding low/low shafts get drastically smaller. My problem is I am no where near any place to demo shafts so I use the trial and error method.  Do they make a Kuro Kage Dual Core TX in 50?

I honestly don't know of any shafts that fit your needs in the 50g weight range. Perhaps starting a new thread about your shaft search might help you find someone that can point you in the right direction

Maybe an old Diamana D+??? AD-BB isn't the lowest, but has some feel. Accra makes a few that are low/low with a nice feel, but I've never looked to see if they make 50s.
