TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 Wedges

Didn't see a thread on these yet but TM has started tour validation on the next generation of Milled Grind Wedges.

Looks like a polymer/elastomer insert behind the hitting area and an intriguing new groove pattern. The design on the toe is also interesting. Looking forward to hearing more about them.FB_IMG_1562279366802.jpegIMG_20190704_182907.jpegFB_IMG_1562279370045.jpeg

Interestingly they don't have the plug in the heel the previous model had so I imagine the wing is there to as you said raise the COG but also to move it away from the heel into the center of the face.

I think they look great too. That groove pattern may take a bit of getting used to though.

Raising that COG. There will be a lot more of that. I think that cavity is hollow like the Hi-Toe. Move the weight up with that “wing”.

Smart. They should have a lower trajectory. Be fun to test drive.

I wish more companies would get rid of all of the heel relief like Edel does. One can’t lay a wedge truly flat with it there.

love how these look... currently the Cleveland rtx4's are the best wedges I've ever played, but im biased towards TM and really want these!! The Hi-Toes are nice but id be the first to admit over the years TM has really struggled in the wedge game compared to everyone else
