Shankster
Maryland just recently went on lockdown correct? I took almost 2 weeks here before stores were close to normal. Unless looking for paper products of course. It will get better but it truly sucks in the meantime. Yeah, “official lockdown” just on Monday. Thanks for some optimism. silver & black
I'm not at the point where I won't go to the grocery store...yet. I do try and limit it, though. I have been to the gas station and the grocery store once each since the shelter at home order. I'm good for a bit. I even have 9 rolls of TP. MDGolfHacker
Now that Maryland has a shelter in place directive, I haven't gone out. Previous to that it was maybe three or four times to the store for some essentials. What we've really cut down on was eating out. We used to eat out at least 3-4 times a week. Now it's been a month and we've literally only made 2 runs out (both to Dunkin Donuts - once for donuts and coffee and ice cream). Now they have another purpose. Have a few dusk masks I bought when I was doing a bunch of sanding here at the house last year, not the N95’s for that just in case. dlow206
I have still been ordering food delivery periodically, but we are following a very specific protocol. All containers of food are unboxed by the front door only and transferred into our own glass containers. The bags and containers are thrown away, hands are washed, and then food is heated in the microwave to an appropriate temperature. The heating in the microwave was my wife's demand. Feels weird microwaving salsa. SlowNLow
Where I live we are under "stay at home", not to sound petty and selfish but I got to say I really miss hitting/smashing golf balls, real ones, hard. Even living in MI, with having a golf dome in the area and a driving range with heated tees, I get to smash those rocks on a regular basis, throughout the year. I haven't gone this long, about 14 days, since I had a hip replacement, 2009. But considering what others are going through, I can wait. Online pickup is definitely a great service they offer, especially right now. We've used it a couple of times, but are going to have to go in next time we shop because they're all booked up.
