At 7:53 am CEST our little baby Audrey Quinn was born.

Both her and mom are in great health. She is super tiny being 46 cm long and 2.5 kg.

Ivan will meet her Ina few short hours, but has been such an incredible and special morning. One I will never forget 🙂

GM & Happy Tuesday.  Up early and get things ready as daughter & 2 of the Gkids roll into town for rest of the week.  Gkids are 19 & 17 and high energy so will be keeping us busy.  I think daughter is checking on us and making sure we’re still OK to live on our own.  Yup we are!!

Health and safety check. 👍🏼😄

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend despite the storm. Dealing with hail the size of golf balls can be quite an experience. It's understandable that you're awaiting the assessment from the roof contractor to determine if any replacement or repairs are necessary. Weather can sometimes bring unexpected challenges, but it's reassuring to have professionals who can guide you through the process and ensure the safety and integrity of your home.

Fingers crossed that the damage, if any, is minimal and easily manageable. In the meantime, stay safe and take any necessary precautions. Here's to a smooth resolution and a great week ahead for everyone!

Thanks.  No significant damage is visible other than a broken window and a damaged window screen at this point.  Luckily,  the window is dual pane and only the outside pane is broken.  We have some gutter damage also.  I’m sure they will find that the roof has to be replaced too.
We had a storm like this 10 years ago and had to replace the roof then along with tiles on the side of our pool as that storm had hail coming in horizontally.
