Good morning All, 

Chilly morning. Headed to SWMBO’s grandparents house, to get all of their Christmas decorations out and up. It will be a full day of fun, but I may get a simulation round in on the Rapsodo later.

Good morning everyone! 

I'm just enjoying a cup of coffee and waking up from a fun, busy day yesterday. I got in 18 holes with some friends and then took the family out to eat at a Korean BBQ where we took one of my all time favorite photos with the wife.

The food was great and the fun we had there was phenomenal. They had a robot serving drinks and watching my sister-in-law geek it was hilarious.

Good morning Spies on a very sunny but frosty Michigan morning.

Played yesterday, and last round outdoors here in Michigan on for today.

Weather both days, sunny, mid 40's and yesterday a little windy, but still a great day to have a great time playing with a couple of my friends.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what may be in your plans, and if golfing, may you hit them straight, and not too often.

Eeeeks.. So much for Sunday being a day of rest and reflection. Weather will start in the 60’s and end up in the mid to high 70’s with little wind. Great weather for golf…. But NO… She who would rule all; wants to put back everything we sorted and cleaned yesterday. I am both humbled and embarrassed by the amount of “ stuff “ we have accumulated. Humble and grateful to be able to have so much; embarrassed that our stuff has stuff. 
   When I inquired about what was on the menu and where the Thanksgiving menu would be served; the wife person informed me she that for multiple days she was making her favorite thing(s)  for meals… RESERVATIONS. 
   As we prepare for the upcoming holiday week here in the USA, remember to embrace this time of gatherings, family, friends, fun, and food that we all are gifted with…. Well, to be true-full not everyone and everything is happy about the coming holiday.

Good morning! Today is a house cleanup day to get ready for Christmas decorations (and an excuse to get the kids to help clean ). I’m also taking photos of a bunch of things we want to sell, including a few golf clubs. Getting rid of a ping S58 iron set and a TM R15 black 8.5* driver. I’ve had both for a long time and their time as my backup clubs has come to an end. 

Congratulations on the 5k @MattWillGolf! How were the lights?

Good morning and happy Sunday spies. Weather should be in the high 40s with sun for the next four days so golf may be possible yet. However, I woke up this morning with some spasms in my lower left back so I am unsure. It has been bugging me a bit since Thursday but it would definitely be difficult to swing a club right now. That means that the 9 I played Friday might just be my last round of the 2023.

Watched the F1 race from Las Vegas when I got up at 5:30 this morning…..meh. Thanksgiving dinner at my Mother-in-law’s at noon today where I can debrief about the race with my niece. Who would have thought that my 20yo niece would become my F1 buddy? This is her second season watching and she is hooked so it’s fun to talk with her. No other plans on tap for the day after that.

Good morning MGSpies from a snowless WNY this peacefully quiet Sunday, reminder of 9 years ago on my FB memories prompt that had to be shared as it was our 62" snowfall the week before Thanksgiving forever remembered in these parts as the Snowvember storm that took the town 5 days to get a front loader down our neighborhood streets to start connecting everyone's mostly shoveled driveways to the main roads, the video clip of me using a roof rake to knock 3 to 4 foot overhanging snow drifts off the upper roof onto the back patio.  

Curling at noon with the Vets then I suspect there will be gentle guidance from SWMBO on what needs to be done when I arrive home to help keep the afternoon from getting boring as though there is daylight available for 9 hole round  I doubt I will have sufficient energy in reserve to play well after 8 ends on the ice 

Love hearing about the preparations for "family gatherings" this week, and hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning all, I asked another "range rat" to take a video of my swing yesterday, I think he had one eye closed but this is what I got so I thought I would post it, I noticed my head moved around a bit which I dont mind but other than that some good points too. Still getting the club back quite a ways for an old man...

Good morning everyone. Got in a round yesterday and was off to a great start until hole 11 reared it’s head. Went from -1 to +2 and never bounced back. Finished at +7 but it was still great to be on the course in shorts in mid November. Gonna try to sneak in a round on Tuesday but the weather gods will get the last say on that plan. we did this yesterday, binge watched “the night agent” on Netflix. All in all a pretty productive day. Put the finishing touches on today and tomorrow…

Happy Sunday spies. Coffee went down smooth this morning. Currently getting the house together for the holidays as well has having some friends over for a play date with the girls. Once that’s over I’m hoping to continue working on my new shelving unit I’m building in the basement to become a little more organized. 

 

decided to use ledger boards so the yellow top totes I have slide in and out for easy access. I Decided to start this in the midst of 10 other projects I have going on, just in time for the holiday season!

Well it's been a crazy weekend! No golf anywhere insight for me... however the football team is headed to the state championship game next week, so the town is all a buzz (and has been for a few months). The team is currently 13-0 and playing quite well. Right now we are preparing to head out to a double header for the youngest basketball team. Oh yeah, me and the missus had a bit of a date night Friday as we went to the Friday night light parade the boys band marched in. We stopped off for a nice quiet meal before hanging out together around town then watching the parade with all the other band families. Was a great night for it. Well, have a great evening everyone!

It is an area under your house that fills up with water or requires a pump to keep it dry.....at least that is what they are in my area.

I am needing a workbench built, so I can do some golf club work, I like the way @Swood1994 has framed up his shelving!! I am looking at “best practices “ and steal his skills

Haha hence the shelves to keep even water resistant totes up off the ground. If they get wet now I’m in big trouble!

Good morning Spies on a cloudy and cold back to work Monday here.

Short work week with the Thanksgiving holiday in the US this week, and other's at work have already taken this week off, meaning being even more short staffed, or busier than usual.

Got my last outdoor rounds in this past weekend and will write-up final review of Titleist test balls later this week. 

Hope your day is the best it can possibley be, no matter what may be on your schedule.

Good morning everyone! 

It's the first day of a short week and I'm off today to visit the surgeon. Hopefully, we'll find out more today and see where we go from there. 

On a side note, my phone has an update and won't let me use the keyboard I've been using for 10+ years and I'm about to go insane. It's too early for that junk.

Well good morning friends, it’s my favorite week of the year. For a fat guy, like myself, this is holiday week number 1 because we start the cook early around our house. This means more fuel for this wanna be average golfer! Not only do we eat good, but I get to spend time with family. The past couple years, I take the week to not only eat but to reflect on something different each day to be thankful for. It really is good for me, and I challenge you to do the same. 
 

Today, I’m thankful for my family, friends, and everyone in my life that doesn’t fit into those two categories. Without any of those interactions or relationships I wouldn’t be here today. 
 

Now it’s time to get ready for work, and go be a blessing to someone by helping and caring. As always, don’t ask for a blessing, BE THE BLESSING!

Good morning all!

Had an eventful weekend. Started with a potluck on Friday where someone went into anaphylactic shock, thankfully not epi-pen worthy, but I got to be the one on the phone with 911 until paramedics arrived and after my wife was the general on everything getting help she the had to console out kids who saw if all and were obviously scared by it all. Then Saturday went to my parents for my grandmothers 80th birthday which was a nice time until my son got sick to his stomach and had to nap at my parents which was not in the plan. Thankfully Sunday was much calmer and relaxing as we just had some friends stop by for dinner. Looking forward to the short week and Thanksgiving, just gotta get through this work.

Good morning spies!! It may be Monday but it’s a short workweek so we’ve got that going for us. Other than that resting is on the agenda for me since my lower back is driving me crazy. Throw in some stretching as well and it’s getting better but still not quite right.

Good morning Spies! The holiday week is now started. Wishing those of you who may be traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday safe travels, may all of your bags arrive on time with you, and hopefully you don't get spot checked by security! I'm looking at knocking out a couple projects this week at work before I check out Tuesday evening. Have a wonderful Monday and if you're in a location where the weather permits you to play golf, get out and enjoy it!
