Stays like this, could be some low scores. We are starting another stint of 100º+; saw a humidity level of 9% for tomorrow. I'm beginning to feel like jerky! No golf today. I'm working in the yard today; taking up a section of grass and weeds and turning it into a bed for plants... there is already a blueberry bush there but grass has taken it over. Wife is headed to Seattle; her brother who has been coming for visits the last couple of years has been in the hospital and is getting out of rehab today. She's spending a couple of days to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid, so this Saturday I'll be playing as a single. Hope everyone that is playing today has a great round with pars and no doubles or others, but most of all... have fun!! Hopefully I can get out to the range after work and practice the drill I learned during my swing eval on Monday. Sometimes it's a pain to get out to the range, and the best golf net article this morning has got me planning my own backyard setup . Think the hardest part will be finding a place that is somewhat level lol, but the savings and convenience would be worth it. Other than that, I need to get my weekly update for my Sugar Pure review up. I discovered a swing flaw halfway through and started finding fairways again off the tee. So that was nice. Costco run later today. Need to restock the golf balls . My wife and I had a wonderful conversation with our son last night. He has a one month left in nursing school and is itching to get out and working. His dream job is in an ER at a level 1 or level 2 trauma center. A couple of his instructors have offered to write letters of recommendation for some of the area hospitals. It is pretty gratifying as a parent to see one's child grow into an adult. Wishing all a great day! I played a very solid round yesterday with my driver being my biggest weapon (not normal for me) and my wedges were my biggest weakness (definitely not normal). So, I am goin to spend some time at the range this evening working on short irons and wedges. If my driving distance stays consistent with where it is now, I won't often hit anything longer than 9 iron into a green on par 4's and 5's so I really need to make sure those clubs are dialed!
