... Well I said I doubt I could repeat it but I guess I was wrong. Shot another 70 today. Too tired to do the full recap but short version is much more grinding today with 2 bogies but 4 birdies, driver was awesome, 5 wood was awesome, hybrid never hit a full shot but 7 partial shots so at least did it's job and putter was good but not great.  I am just thrilled I didn't come home to read CFredo taking credit for a gross 69 PGA Tour 2K23 on his Xbox using just digital Cobra woods and wedges. 

... Love to play again tomorrow but my good friend and playing pard has his final chemo/radiation treatment tomorrow and I am treating him and his wife to seats beside 1st base at the Diamondbacks Game. 6 weeks of he!!ish treatments and the guy never complained once. He is just so very inspirational.

Sadly it's looking like my three hole finish of 16-18 will be pushed to this evening at best, possibly tomorrow. Air quality index in my neck of the woods currently sits at 294, so I am not going to be finishing up at lunch time. Really hopeful to finish it up this evening as long as the kids get to sleep at a decent time. The three hole loop is really close to our house so I'd be able to get it done in probably 20 minutes with no one else on the course .

Since I may not get to complete the round till the evening, I can't help but share some info from the round 15 holes through.

I LOVE these wedges. According to Arccos, to this point in my round I am +3.8 SG on Approach and +2.5 SG on Short Game when compared to a 20 handicap. The GW was about as automatic as it gets for a high handicapper like myself. It was producing a great amount of spin and the ball really just sticks to the green. Also hit the GW out of a fairway bunker with about 105 to the stick and got it 90 yards to the green for a two putt par. I was really pleased with this as I don't think I've EVER gotten on the green out of a fairway bunker before. That's not to say I still didn't duff some, because I did, but overall I hit more good than bad shots. Sadly, two were back to back with the 60* after a really nice drive that should have been an easy wedge into the green for a shot at birdie. Conversely, had a great bunker shot with the 60* on a par three to 5'. Unfortunately, I chunked a 56* and then bladed it into the bunker beforehand . Best shot with woods to this point was a 245 yard rocket with the 3 wood after slicing a drive on a par 5 and only getting 226 out of it (dogleg right so not a great hole to slice on ). Still left me with around 50ish yards, but got a wedge onto the green on my 3rd and missed the birdie putt by about 6 inches, tap in par. I already detailed the works of the 7 wood last night, and both of those clubs absolutely have earned a spot in the bag already. Haven't gotten to take any full swings with the King Tec 3 hybrid yet, but it got me out of trouble on a par 5 on the front nine after pulling (yes, I didn't actually slice the driver ) my tee shot into some tall pines. Hit a low 175 yard punch draw. The hybrid is starting to grow on me. Driver is a different story, as I still just have not put many good swings on it. When I do, it is shorter than my TSi3. I hit one good drive, which was a 248 yard right to left cut on a short par 4. That is the one spot in the bag where the Cobra will struggle to gain a spot as I just really, really like my TSi3. I also have no three putts to this point, but I still do not have the Cobra putter, so that doesn't seem as relevant to share.

Haha I am not going to lie, when I can hit the 3 wood pure and it goes as far as the driver, it's very tempting

Me and the driver rarely get along lol. But, that is more to do with my swing than the club as a full disclosure to anyone looking at the AJ line of drivers. Guys like @chisag & @Tom the Golf Nut will be better to gauge the driver performance than myself!

I’ll disagree,  the bigger question for the testing is does it improve your driving in any way.   Are you getting fewer penalties or unplayable type lies that require a recovery shot.   @chisagand @Tom the Golf Nut; like you, are going to be evaluating performance against their current clubs.  Their consistency variations may just be smaller and not about reduction in penalties but more consistent distance variations or can they vary launch conditions to hit it high or low.

I didn't think about it in that light, thanks @cnosil! My first run with testing so appreciate the feedback!
