I'll be heading to Athens to pick up some special brew to sip on later today. I'm thinking of going with something totally new/different to bring in the New Year...

With the low alcohol content, I should think several times would have been better!

Tonight will be a different New Year's Eve for me. I'll be going to a buddy's house for the Ohio State/Clemson game. It will be just a few guys in their 50's drinking Bush light and a few different kinds of shine... nothing fancy or expensive.

 

Hey...... good friends, football, cheap beer and home made shine. I think this might be fun!

During the Falcons game last night I hammered down a few too many beers.  I'll be taking a couple days off to recoup for that one.   Funny how a big game like that can turn a two beer man into a human funnel.

Its really good Foz.. I generally prefer BT but the Four Roses is more readily available where I am. In MS BT is rarely in stock and sells out very quickly when it is.

I think I may try to order some, just to give them a try.  After last winter when Foz gave me some Wild Turkey Honey Sting, I looked for it in our stores.  Honey, no Sting.  So I ordered a couple of bottles.  I got hooked on that when the weather is cold, and I ran out at Christmas.  January is NOT a good time to order booze.  Stores are doing inventory, and suppliers will not deliver just a couple of bottles.  The stores have to make a large order.  Hopefully, it will be better when I return from AZ in February.

You have to give it a try. It is a superb Bourbon... especially at it's price point compared to other single barrel offerings.

Good point.  That would explain why BT has been so scarce around here lately. Too bad.
